I don't know why these boxing influencers never reference the fact that Tyson was 300lbs before training for Jones, lost 100lbs before the competition. So he went untrained FOR YEARS prior to that fight..hence why he made comments on Joe Rogan about being in a bed for a week. Now, counter that with the fact he has trained almost daily SINCE the RJJ fight, he is in far better physical condition AND probably stamina now than he was for RJJ. I wish this would at least be acknowledged.

@PicaPauDiablo1 the guy that replied has his timing WAY off. After Mike retired from boxing he ballooned up to 320lbs in around 2007-2008. In the movie the hangover he is well overweight. You can Google Mike tyson fat and you will get many pics of him over 300, but he had lost the weight and had been around 220 for over a decade prior to the Roy Jones fight. I met him in 2015 and he was in good shape then. He's been doing his podcast for many years and has always been in similar 220-230 shape. He got into great shape for the Jones fight, but he hasn't been fat in well over a decade.

It's not that hard to understand. 100 is 100%. A +200 means u get 200% of ur money on the bet. -200 means I'll get 50 percent. It's percentage system

Why would they have to pay Mike to lose dude he is 60 years old. You know Jake beat up Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz, Tyrone Woodley and a bunch of other guys who were much younger and more active than Mike
Tyson looked terrible vs RJJ, and he's even older now... I mean obviously Paul is no RJJ talent wise, but he's way younger with way more athleticism.
Chael: Do you know how odds work? How is this "tight" or "even" or "close" ? . The numbers are close to each other except for the +/- sign but that means about 3-4x as much money is already on the favorite and they are trying to get people to take the + side.
Who would think the odds are close to even? You get triple your money if Tyson wins and have to bet $360 on Paul to win to win $100 using the odds mentioned in this video (which are not correct).
Jake Paul is the favorite of the people betting. Does that mean anything? Usually. Who knows in this case.

@@kevinkelly1529 No problem! The other thing to know is do the math and you'll see no matter who wins the bookies make a profit. If you bet both sides of the bet you will always lose money. They adjust the odds constantly to try to get people to take the "other" side if too many people are betting one way or the other. However: Whatever you bet at is "locked in" at that point. They already know how much money they will take in if one side loses and how much they will pay out if the other side wins so they are constantly trying to put themselves in a spot (getting people about even on either side) so they will make a profit. If, for example, in the last hour someone puts 10 million on Tyson and they know if Tyson wins they will have to pay someone 30 million dollars then all of a sudden Jake Paul will get much more favorable odds because they need to balance the equation and get more bets on Jake Paul. In that case they will make a killing if Tyson loses but lose a lot if he wins. They aren't in the gambling business. They are in the always making money no matter who wins business.

He was cornering Roy and smashing his body right up until the final bell (and a few seconds after lol) also Roy said this week that they were both told to go easy to the head but all out to the body AND Roy said Mike at 55 was the hardest puncher by far he had ever been in with,he said those body shots were like being kicked by a mule. I feel like this fight is just still so hard to believe as actually happening. I can understand Jake’s angle and why he’d want to do this, but Tyson’s reasons are just an absolute enigma to me. Guys in all seriousness -300 means that he is a 3 to 1 favorite. Draft kings does not think this will be close. You need to wager 300 to win 100 if you bet on Jake and you win 300 of you bet 100 on Mike. Not encouraging betting. But this is not even money or a slight favorite.

As much as I would love for Mike Tyson to clobber Jake Paul - and I will definitely be cheering for Mike - I think everyone that’s so sure that Tyson will win is completely overestimating his current physical abilities, and completely ignoring the reality that Paul’s youth is a HUGE advantage.
On top of that, Tyson hasn’t fought professionally for 19 years, and had lost 3 of his last 4 fights.
I would think that Tyson's only shot is to finish Paul in the first round - Paul’s youth will definitely be an advantage for him when it comes to cardio and stamina.
