It shouldn't really be allowed to go ahead. My sad prediction, Tyson to look good for 2 minutes, and then Jake Paul takes control and then just punishes him for a stoppage in the mid to late rounds. I wouldn't even be surprised if Jake Paul wins within the first 2 rounds. If Tyson couldn't beat Kevin McBride 20 yrs ago, why would anyone believe he can beat Jake Paul at the age of 58 ?

For what it's worth, when Mike was losing at the end of his career, his heart, soul and mind wasn't in boxing anymore and he said that at the time. He had massive financial problems, was in a really bad place in his life including mentally and he was just turning up to perform like some circus act, hating every second of it.
Now however, he's fighting because he seemingly genuinely wants to fight and is mentally where he needs to be... that's a totally different animal. That said, there's no getting around his age but I'd still expect at least 1 minute of vintage Mike Tyson for the first 2-3 rounds so who knows.

    • @EXT_Cryptic
      @EXT_Cryptic 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

@@thetruesquad5059 my honest thoughts and predictions from a boxer myself with an underfeated record:
first of hats off to both men. Jake paul is living every kids dream. Rich and now less than 3 months off stepping into the ring with arguably the best heavyweight boxer off all time. at first i didnt like this at all. however as brian said in the video whoever wins changes boxing history forever
if mike wins its the fairytail ending. The man to finaly fix the problem (child)
if jake wins it allows him to be where hes most comftable. The most hated man on the planet. If jake wins he will go down in history as the man who tarnished the G.O.A.T's legacy and the most hated man in boxing history.
      now my prediction:
for all those saying its going to be a rigged fight or a 30 seccond KO for jake. just stop. its none of them. Yes mike is 58. Yes his cardio will have dropped and so will his chin. But when has mike Tyson ever taken a fight he dosnt belive he can win. However that being said if jake wasnt a former youtuber we would all be sat here saying this man is fucking dangerous. witch he is.
      ROUND BY ROUND
      ROUND 1
      VINTAGE MIKE
mike wants to prove a point. He wants to show everyone that he isnt this 58 year old grandpa with no chnace. Mike wiĺl look as close to his old self as you can get at 58. This round will end in a mike tyson knockdown with jake getting up at 6
      ROUND 2
      MIKE
Mike will still be arround and still look good maybe not as good as round 1 but he will still be throwing volume.
      ROUND 3
      THE YOUTH SHOWS
Jake will be annoyed after losing rounds 1 and 2 and will come out faster and stronger in round 3 than he has ever been possibly getting a knockdown.
      ROUND 4
      MIKES LAST HOPE
Round 4 is Mikes last chance. Even he will know this. if Mike dosnt stop jake its game over. I just cant see it happening in round 4. Maybe in round 1 or 2 witch is where mikes allways been best even at a young age.
      ROUND 5
      THE LEGEND KILLER WILL STRIKE
      Jake Knocks out Mike Tyson.
I hope mike will get the job done however i cant see him being able to take down a man whos is not only 30 years younger but is also out cor blood.
      however you never know because
MIKE ISNT AS GOOD AS HE ONCE WAS
HES GOT A FEW YEARS ON HIM NOW
      BUT THERE WAS A TIME
      BACK IN HIS PRIME
WHERE HE COULD HOLD IS OWN
MIKE ISNT AS GOOD AS HE ONCE WAS
BUT IS HE AS GOOD ONCE AS HE EVER WAS?
(Remix of the chorus from Toby Keiths american country hit "As good as i once was")

Great analysis. As someone in Tyson’s age range, I want to believe that the fury and heart of a fighter are the great equalizers at any age. I get the feeling I’m not alone. Tyson is carrying the weight of his generation’s hesitancy to face its own mortality. I hope his heart is enough to provide him with, if not a win, then at least the ability to finish the bout both fully intact and with dignity. To see Tyson outclassed by someone he would have destroyed in his prime would be crushing.
And the sentiments you expressed at the end for Francis were beautifully stated. What a horrific tragedy.

No one won that fight….Jake won officially but in the eyes of the world he is still a loser for fighting a guy 30 years older than himself. I am proud of Mike though. He did go the distance but he is no where close to the fighter he was.

    • @anadverb5063

@ Agreed. The actual scorecard has Netflix and Paul losing quite a bit more than Tyson, though. They exploited a now elderly but universally beloved legend of the sport for a fat paycheck. Tyson’s a grown man-no one twisted his arm-but the old lion always believes he’s got one more great fight to give. They exploited that and they exploited an audience that wants to believe Superman exists. I strongly suspect that we’ve heard the last of Jake Paul, and I’m pretty sure that come Monday morning, Netflix’s stock value will be revealed as the only thing KO’d during this bout.

Foreman always was reliant on his punch. Many people have talked about his fight with Ali as being the breaking point for both fighters. With neither being right afterwards.
Foreman was 45... Whis is exponentially younger than Tyson is compared. Also watch that fight vs. foreman's old fights and you will see the difference in age related performance.
Also keep in mind that foreman defeated Moore.... Nuff said it was a dark time on boxing.
It would have been interesting to see foreman vs Tyson back then .... But now it would be colostomy bags and rascals for foot work with a for hims commercial while looking at ring girls

I like Mike, I really do. I'm old enough to have watched him fight when he was at his prime.
The thing is, while he might have had ones of the most powerful punches and impressive KOs, he was not unbeatable.
I remember watching his fight live against Evander Holyfield and He was not winning at all. It was even worst against lennox lewis (yes he was past his prime).
So, yeah, if Jake Paul runs away and tires Tyson with cheap tricks, or simply hit Tyson squarly because Jake will have superior speed (because Tyson will be 58), I dont see Tyson winning.
But, like many people of my age, I hope Tyson knocks him out and fast.

I would argue that Mike doesn’t have the accumulated punishment of Chuck. Mike for most of his career was impossible to hit with all of his speed and head movements. His guard was magnificent. A long time ago sure, but Chuck got rocked all day every day and his power would get him wins against far more talented “boxers”. Which is why he was so popular. Mike was unstoppable for approximately a decade. I think that this fight is a real one, then Jake better watch out. Unlike the Roy Jones Jr. fight which really was an exhibition. If Mike is locked in then I believe he has forgotten more about boxing than Jake will ever learn. I hear Jake talking about being a world champion one day, but I don’t see him taking the path that earns him respect. Where are his wins against top 10 boxers? It’s all a money grab for him and I don’t blame him. However, I think Mike is a born competitor. We will all see on the 20th of July if Jake has the intestinal fortitude to clench his butt cheeks after all the body shots and uppercuts about to land. I promise you that Paul is going to watch what he eats and drinks before the fight. It would suck for his career to get body shot knocked out by a 58 year old man with brown “water” running down his thighs. All I’m saying. Tyson was a monster and you know he has the testosterone level of an 18 year old. Not to mention a great deal of motivation after Paul made a comment about Mikes deceased baby girl.

Jake paul is lowkey smart for calling out Mike Tyson.
Hear me out : Jake knows a lot of people want to see him lose so he calls out someone as beloved as Mike only to bring easily thousands of more pay-per-view buys to see him lose. I wouldn't be surprised if they are friends bts and are just going to make it a spectacle. Supposedly, jake is aiming to be 215+, so perhaps its him taking it seriously or just the illusion of it. Either way, Mike deserves a big payday, and hopefully, he actually tries to take Jakes head off.

Tyson ended his career getting beat off bums so losing to Jake will be nothing new. Win win for him at 58 no one’s going to be arsed if he loses at that age, worth the pay packet.
Nice touch at the end for Francis mate

It's a lose lose for Jake paul. He either loses to a 58 yo or he beats an old man.

52% to 48% Mike by edge for the same reasons you mention. Idk if Mike he can take a hit or not but Jake has never taken a shot by someone with mikes power.

Either way this fight is a good thing for Mike Tyson. Fact… he needs this pay day. Also… haven’t seen him look this alive in years.

I'm HOPING it'll be a proper boxing match.. That way, I personally believe Mike Tyson STILL blasts JP out of there, certainly wins imo (yeah, even at 58).. but I doubt 'proper fight' are the words we should apply, here.. In fact, you really gonna just ignore the money involved and the likely, certainly easily reached, 'agreement' between the two 'fighters' just to make it another Jake Paul arranged (= totally BS) pay day???... 🥊🤷‍♂️🥊

@Silver_back196I think this is very different situation I think people just wanted Floyd to lose in a ring - a lot of people will seriously hate Jake outside the ring and not just Internet hate real life hate . MIKE is an icon if Jake beats up a 60 year old legend it's a disgrace

heartbreaking news about ngannou. I can't comprehend losing a child. no one should ever have to experience that in their life it's unnatural. even for one of the biggest warriors in the world that has to be the biggest blow he will ever take. I pray he can find the strength to get through this and heal as much as possible. thoughts are with him

You talk about whether Tyson can take a shot but what about can Jake take a shot from Tyson? He's been wobbled by Woodley who can't even box. I don't think this is going to be close. The lack of boxing ability from Jake was striking against Fury and he's not any good. Tyson is one of the best ever and this is basically an amateur Vs a pro.

This is reminding me of another fight build up when certain people (Geordie) were going on and on and on about how we might be about to see AJ getting knocked out cold by Ngannou in the biggest upset of all time etc etc.
So let’s be clear, if Mike Tyson has made a conscious decision that he wants to win this fight, Jake Paul is not going to stop him… Not even if there was two Jake Pauls across from him in the ring when that first bell goes.
