He said that it’s an exhibition, but the rules they’re fighting under would make the match qualify as a REAL fight - and that the rumors of what the rules are aren’t true. This is not some staged nonsense. Mike is under the fighting weight that he was in his prime (220), and he would not get into this good of shape for the fun of it. Let’s be serious here.

Foreman was 38 when he came back, Tyson is 58 and retired almost 20 years ago. The 2 situations are not even a little close.
I hear why Key is saying about Mike not just letting Jake beat up on him and not getting paid to just take a fall. Mike is not beneath swallowing his pride though. Towards the end of his career, Mike was only fighting for money and even admitted as much after one fight. I’m sure Mike is getting paid a lot for this fight.
Foreman was 45 when he knocked out the Champion of the World to take the title. Mike at 58 (with testosterone replacement therapy) is fighting an amateur boxer who with a record of 1-1 against boxers who happens to have a TH-cam following. You're right, it's not remotely the same.

@@kingromeo7328 No my friend there are plenty of guys who are in shape at that age (meaning their 40's) but there is also a reason for why you say that they aren't in shape. Age doesn't allow them to maintain that. It's much more difficult to train the way necessary for a fight at that age. That is how come you don't see it. Speed, mobility, stability, and chin all wear down. State Athletic commissions have a lot to do with it as well. They are not likely to license/sanction a fight with a man that age because it is an extreme liability. This is why we do not see it and it's for good reason. Unfortunately, this fight is not going to be the least bit entertaining.
