I bet it is hot😂. I was stationed in 29 Palms an rode to Indio once to a Suzuki dealership back in 1982. It was over 100°. The oil broke down in my bike and I installed an oil cooler after that trip😅. It was a 1982 Yamaha XS-650 Heritage Special. That was my second bike. I live in the Northeast now and I miss those desert roads and dry climate. I used to like riding through Joshua Tree National Monument. This video brings back fun memories. Thanks

The weather wasn't bad when I shot that footage, typically it's only unbearably hot during the summer here (June - end of September) anything outside of that is great riding weather. However during the summer it's sooo hot here (can hit °120) I try to avoid riding and if I do it's either very early in the mornings or very late in the evenings. Be safe out there when riding and have a great 2024!
