      Normally it is given in the question
      if not assume it to be 14MPa
      its like a standard value

    You select the hub outer diameter as 2D at 16:40. Is it your choice or their is a rule to select this?

      If the key is not failing by keeping width as 22mm then it can be taken as the final value otherwise calculate and find the new width by taking given permissible stress.
