- For the 10th year in a row, we're proud to bring you Autumn Blaze Ruffed Grouse Hunting 10! It's been a long journey on this project and I hope to bring the 20th and 30th someday. Welcome to part 2 of our adventures in the wood for this series. We'll have part 3 as well on our November and early December hunts and then a final video on the closing weekend hunt in January.
Our favorite time of the year is in the Wisconsin grouse woods. A very special place for me and so much history and allure. We really hope you enjoy the show on this part 1 episode.

The Dogtra Pathfinder 2 GPS collar shown in this video has been a great system for me and I very much appreciate the continued support from Dogtra.

Another great video. I enjoy watching and learning. Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
Sawyer wearing you out lol...another great vid.
He drags me miles through the woods for sure!
What camera are you using for your B-Roll shots?
Mirrorless - Panasonic
Do you shoot with your hand wrapped around the barrels?
I don't mean to, but it was a problem this season in the grouse woods definitely affected my shooting poorly.
@@UnderFortyYards I was just curious, I just bought my first SxS and the fore stock is really narrow, holding it is a little odd to me being used to OU's, shooting just a round of trap had my hands awfully hot as it was, I definitely wouldn't want to wrap my hands around them anymore than I have to.
@@mathewpankratz5767 they are different and take getting used to. I've also had it trap shooting and it's definitely gets hot. Not ideal for that. I find myself wearing gloves more with a SxS just because your hand is on steel a lot. I do enjoy it though, a little more fun I think. But I'm definitely not as accurate with it yet.
