He could have lived in China 1958-1962 for the famine, of which he was aware, caused by the economic planners of the Maoist Communist State. He could have lived in Prague for the 1968 "Prague Spring" uprising of the proletariat against the State and experienced the shackling of the proletariat by the elite of the Soviet State. It'd be illuminating to hear Saul's introspection of those times. Saul must have written some critique of those events in light of his passionate beliefs. A read of this sort would tell much about Saul.
