      @@theboomerangbiker1966 Still editing? :-) Been searching your channel for the second video...but guess it's not ready yet. Haven't experimented with any of the selfie stick options yet but was wondering how you make the stick disappear in the editing process. Cheers.

      @@skuehr hi mate, haven't had a chance to do the editing video yet. But... the insta360 software hides the stick. Don't ask me how, it's magic I guess!

    The grip to mount is mostly hard plastic and gs bars are so shiny and not gripping nicely. How do you lock the u bolt nicely to the bike? Did you put some slicone in between? The ones that come with motorcycle bundle never grips nicely and I am looking something better

    Cant get it that the front side can look so long from the rear. IE the side placing looks like its drone follow mode. ie 4.58 time will evolve into 5:10 angle

      Weird isn't it, super wide angle lenses. Have a look at this one, you can choose where to look and zoom in/out by moving your phone or using your fingers on the screen... th-cam.com/video/yjlkHeRxgbM/w-d-xo.html

    Firstly let me say a great review and video. I have anew 360 X3 and the same insta360 basic extendable selfie stick that you show but I am worried that it will not be strong enough to take all the bumps that out great Australian roads offer and that the stick will fail and snap. As I said a great review and video. well done and a BIG thumbs up.

      I agree, the shots are great but the road needs to in semi good shape- sometimes the threads becomes “loose”

    Awesome video, I will order the x3 but how to find motorcycle kit like yours, the stick is easy to find but the stick holder?

    I've been really happy with my Insta 360 One X2. The Rode wireless Go2 is a great addition when used with the audio adapter and gives clear audio from up to two people. A small bracket available from Insta keeps the Rode receiver and cable hidden in the softeware's stitch line.

    • @theboomerangbiker1966
      @theboomerangbiker1966  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use the RAM mount on my mirror and other locations on the bike for my gopros but to be honest I've given up on insta360. The Tiny Planet Fisheye novelty has worn off and everyone's doing it now. Check out my latest video, my editing has come a long way in the last couple of years...

    Awesome video! Do you mind sharing the top ball you use to hold the stick? Also, did you had any kind of issue with wind and vibration using this mount? Just want to be sure it's safe and it won't loosen and crack the camera on the tarmac while riding

    • @theboomerangbiker1966
      @theboomerangbiker1966  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the great feedback mate! The ball is from RAM, they have a multitude of accessories to choose from. Vibration is definitely a problem, plus the authorities may not like the idea of the stick poking out from the bike if you get spotted using it!

  • @Gallery2Gaze

    Thanks for the video. Very informative. Two questions:
    - How long is the recording time with the 360 considering memory and battery
    - Is the image quality as shown in your videos or is it highly compressed and that's why it looks more like a low resolution footage?
    Thanks again and keep the rubber down.

    • @theboomerangbiker1966
      @theboomerangbiker1966  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the great feedback. I'm experimenting with the first gen insta360 and you can only charge the whole unit rather than interchangeable batteries. I'd recommend newer insta's because of this. I think the image quality issue is because I edit in 360 Studio and transfer the footage into Adobe Premier to add to the main video frame and add logos, music etc. Personally I don't think this model is great for the tour vids I like to make, but it's great for quick bursts of cool footage here and there. I'm concerned with the light filters of the insta360, images always seem darker than the gopro. In this video you can see the gopro and insta images side by side as a comparison... th-cam.com/video/nYKpqoiLpeA/w-d-xo.html
