    From one yoga teacher to another, thank you for that part at 18:00 So many people associate being active and productivity with success, yet our bodies need to rest and restore as well in order to stay healthy.

    I have found a challenge in saddle pose. My knees talk louder during that one, so we, my knees and I, will be working to find our restful space in this position. Always thank you, Bre 🙏🏼

    So good to see that even an experiences yogi like you are does not do every pose completely. I am also struggling with square pose and it is good to see that your legs are not touching either. Other yogis on you tube seem to do that effortlessly.

    I love square pose but don't feel much unless I lean forward; I guess that's the way to take it deeper...? Btw, great transition from deer to square! Also love the knowledge you share during the video.

    Thank you for another video. I have a question... For anyone experienced I think.
    Don't you warm up before yoga? My hips were so stiff this morning, but I know that after a workout my blood flows everywhere and every part of my body is warm. It's makes my stretching much easier

    • @BreatheAndFlow

    Are there any beginner poses to supported saddle pose? I User the two biggest couch cushions I could find, but it just puts my body into pain: my Lower back, my feet, my knees. Any suggestions?

  • @Barak911777
    @Barak911777 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey Bre, love the yin practices! Especially in low energy days.
    I have a question - in the pose we did after deer pose I felt a slight tension/pull inside my knees. It wasn’t pain, felt like a really tight stretch - and I was flexing my foot. What do you make of it?

  • @pauladeeder6984
    @pauladeeder6984 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi Bre, I’m just new to your yoga classes and just ran into the Yin Yoga.
    I really LOVE the classes you do, they are very informative, supportive and inventing.
    I do have a question: with your Yin Classes I’m feeling really, really nauseous (but in like practically every pose…). If I try to get back to my breathing I’m feeling even more nauseous and therefore I have to quite the poses usually earlier, because I feel like throwing up.
    I’ve been doing sports my whole life and I only know this ‘throwing up’ feeling from games or matches where I really pushed myself to the limits (like in a triatlon or running competition). Do you have any idea what this is and how I can counteract that nauseous feeling? Can it do harm, do I have to lean into that feeling or am I doing the right thing by getting out of the pose earlier?
    Thanks for your answer in advance :)

    • @BreatheAndFlow
      @BreatheAndFlow  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      thanks for sharing. we cannot give any personalized advice on this over a comment like this. the nauseous feeling starts as you start the practice and you feel perfectly fine before? this is with all yin classes from anyone or just with this specific one? how is your breathing while you're doing the practice?

    • @pauladeeder6984
      @pauladeeder6984 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the quick answer. I thought that maybe this is a more common thing when people start Yin Yoga, so that’s why I asked :)
      never tried Yin yoga classes before, because I am more the ‘adrenaline’ type. But I figured out I also needed to calm down once in a while and since a couple of months I’m doing doing twice per week a yoga class (one Power Yoga in real life and one online from you).
      I only have this problem with Yin yoga, so when I’m holding one pose for a couple of minutes. I feel fine before and after, it’s just during the pose that this nauseous feeling starts. Really weird.
      I guess when I practice more it will go away, so I’ll just keep on doing it. Thanks for the reply :)

    Hi bre,hi flo, I am currently doing your embark challenge and I feel great but while doing the lunges I get some knee pain in both the knees. Can you just recommend some ways or poses to make my knee stronger and also prevent pain in the future. Or maybe you can make a video on it if you can. Thank you. Stay happy stay safe😊

    • @BreatheAndFlow
      @BreatheAndFlow  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Your knees will get stronger the more you use them in this case the more you're on the knees. We assume you're new to the practice? If so be patient, avoid strong pain, but analyze discomfort. If. nothing helps, use a pillow underneath the knees but then they will never get stronger because they rely on the cushioning 🙏
