Thank you! I replaced the battery backup and the battery in the opener unit itself, and neither one seemed to fix the issue. A quick reprogramming worked like a charm.
My remote stopped working I changed the battery but it still didn’t work. we reprogrammed it with your video and this worked on the first try it was fast and easy!. Thank you so much for sharing.
@@Garagedoormediaquestion I have 3 different openers one is a liftgate and two others are Amazon brand I typed in numbers behind the original liftgate one and when I try them all out they all work but the next day only one will only work and the other two are duds no matter in what order I program them in. Any advice ?
Corresponding button means you can program three individual remotes: Button I for the first remote, Button II for the second remote, and Button III for the third remote. Each will be done SEPARATELY.
You just follow the same reprogramming process for each remote. Just know some openers can only handle certain amount of accessories depending on the model.
Instead of holding down the yellow button, just press it normally so that the yellow LED lights up. Then press the button on the next remote you want to program and it should program it without clearing the memory.
@@GaragedoormediaI think 🤔 he was referring to once you press and release the ‘learn’ button then press the desired button on the opener all that happens is the led light flashes on the opener the garage doesn’t open.
I have issue with programming my new chamberlain garage door opener... after installation i tried to program it but the setup looks reverse, when I press the UP button from the opener, it tries to close and vise versa ... any idea what to do??
@ArtemisMaximus42 step saver ONLY: press and hold the black button until you hear a beep. press and hold the up arrow until ur door is at the desired up position. press and release the black button. now, press and hold the down arrow until the door is in the desired down position. now, press and release the black button. the opener will blink a couple times and will automatically run itself to set the force. once you hear 3 beeps, the opener is done. for non-step saver, you do the same thing but for the force, you press and release the up button until its opened and same with the down button.
When you go to program them just tap the learn button till the led is on and press in your code on keypad then enter. (Light should blink or hear a click.) Then tap the learn button again and press your remote button. You should get the light or hear a click noise. ( If you hold the learn button you will erase the machines remotes and keypad)
I don’t want to erase my keypad code. I just want to reprogram my LiftMaster remote is there a way to do this separately so that I don’t have to freshen up on resetting my key pass code?
Is the remote currently programmed to the opener? If it’s not working all you have to do is press the learn button and then press the remote button you want to program.
There’s a different sequence for that. You have to press and hold the button in the car and the garage door opener remote simultaneously till the little led in the car changes it’s flash pattern slow to fast or fast to slow.
So if you are programing two remotes you don’t hold the learn button you just press it once so it lights up and press the remote and repeat that for the second remote.
Press and hold the two outer buttons on the car buttons till the blinking changes from slow to fast. Then press the button on the remote for the door and the button you want to program for the car at the same time till the led changes from slow to fast. Then test the car remote. 90% of the time this works. If not check your cars manual.
Last night, I depressed about it.
But I got solved.
You save my day and money.

Question: If you press and hold the yellow button, would that also erase the control panel outside the garage door too or just the remotes?
It will erase remotes and keypad

Any tips to do this with in car openers? 🙏 And without erasing the old ones?
Since it removes any remote previously paired, how do you go about syncing multiple remotes?
You just follow the same reprogramming process for each remote. Just know some openers can only handle certain amount of accessories depending on the model.
@@Garagedoormedia Thanks
@@Garagedoormedia I programmed three remotes and it worked, but the next day only one worked. How can I fix this?. I just need two tops!
THE REMOTES HAVE ROMAN NUMERALS ON THEM. DO THIS METHOD. "I" WITH FIRST CAR AND "II" FOR SECOND CAR ETC ETC

Will this oppression clear the control buttons on my vehicles too? So I’ll need to reprogram my vehicles garage door buttons?
Thank you very much
Yes when you erase with the learn button it erases everything
Thanks, it worked on the first try....
Amazing and fast thanks

My small led light is just flashing when I press the opener. It doesn’t open or close😢
If it’s the led button on the wall then press and hold the lock button till it’s solid

Will this erase the apps connection with the garage door opener ? Or this is aseparate reset
Pressing and holding the learn button should only erase remotes and keypad. Erasing Wi-Fi/app is different process
Thanks for video. It was really helpful. Quick and easy.
Glad it could help
I can’t find these remotes anywhere, can you send me a link to this lift master remote ?

It sounds like the carrier is reversed on the rail. The nut to tighten the belt should be on the left side of the rail when looking out of the garage.
As I single woman…I thank you ❤❤❤
Strong independent women 💪
Thank you. Simple and short to the point.
Wow thanks 💯
No problem
Does the remote have to be the same brand as the garage opener or a universal one works too ?
Universal remotes work. You just have to make sure the frequency is compatible. There’s basically 2 major brands. Chamberlain (Liftmaster) or Genie
Thank you it’s helpful ❤
My garage still doesnt open what do I do now? When I click on the remote it blinks twice
Sounds like maybe the limits aren’t set. Does it run by the wall button?

I’ve followed 10 videos online damn thing still won’t work and I just erased my code for the other garage I shouldn’t of even fucked with it
Make sure your remote has batteries and is the proper frequency for the specific opener
lmao

Does this work with universal remotes
Yes but you may have to follow the instructions for the remote
Does it work if u program it on the car? Cuz my car has buttons on rear view mirror that can be programmed to open garage door
There’s a different sequence for that. You have to press and hold the button in the car and the garage door opener remote simultaneously till the little led in the car changes it’s flash pattern slow to fast or fast to slow.
It worked for my Honda odyssey
How do I program 2 garage door opener? When I tried doing the same thing to the other remote the first one gets erased.
So if you are programing two remotes you don’t hold the learn button you just press it once so it lights up and press the remote and repeat that for the second remote.
Do you do the second remote during the same time the button is light up for the first remote?
Very good
I hope this works. My ex won’t return my remote and shows up uninvited.
Will work. Ex’s remote won’t work.
Which wires go where ???
Wall button wires are red and white
Photo cells are black and white
what about car built in remote

@@Garagedoormedia thanks but that didn't work
Pressing Learn button but nothing happened, anyone know how to fix this?
If no led gets lit then could be a bad board
How can I connect it to my car?
Same question, does this work for Homelink?
Worked 👍🏼
Not working. The light just flashes twice
If it flashes check the photo eyes for alignment first. If that doesn’t work remove the light bulb leds can mess with remote frequencies
Check the wall button, if the led is blinking, find the lock button and hold it for 3 sec
Did not work on mine.
Could be a frequency issue do you have the right remote for the frequency of your opener?
Didn’t work the light just flashes on and off
@@westplainsgreenhousesandnu8467same here idk what to do
Door will not go back down
Heck the alignment of the eyes
3rd party remotes doesnt work sadly
You have to make sure it matches the frequency of the opener
