Once you scheduled your song (via DistroKid for example, do it at least +/- 2 weeks before the release), you'll see a prompt on your Spotify for Artists homepage for pitching to a playlist. Go through the steps and then you'll see the tags page, I believe

A great FREE plug-in for LOFI is isotope vinyl it’s a useful resource go check it out you can get some really nice vintage vinyl sounds like warp,crackle and dust but there’s much more you can do with it

This is cool and very helpful for possibly generating a tiny bit of stream income, but making music like this-and I've done a few tracks that are mostly sample pack based-but it's not something I could be too proud of calling it "my music", but it's a good way to snag a few ears and lead them to your more original work. If it's not mostly me it's not really "MY music". Just my opinion. 🤷🏽♂️ Caveat: I listen to these playlists a lot, so I'm glad there are folks doing this. So, there's absolutely nothing wrong with a little passive creativity for some relaxed passive listening.🙏🏽
There is no need to use sample loops for this kind of music, you could record all the instruments yourself (well maybe not drums) and still have really good lofi
so i am not a Lo-Fi specific artist but i do have a few tracks on my new Album that are Lo-fi, 90's R&B, ect. I also have a large list of lofi Spotify Playlists. But not all take original hip-hop tracks that are lo-fi and mostly instrumental or remix.
