If you wanna hear some clarity of some timbre and sounds, it is way better to mix on low volume. Having high volume, or worse max will overpower and 'eat' another mix on the way

Darbadarb's track had me in tears bro. It takes me back to when I was in school and people would show me their beats. i bit my tongue so hard once, my eyes welled up trying to stop myself from laughing. Its one of those moments where you know you'll be a piece of shit if you laugh because they're trusting you to help them, and it's super inappropriate, but it keeps making it funnier.
Their track honestly is how we all sounded when we first started making music on a DAW. Learning how to mix and developing your ear takes time. Our very first beats sounded just as bad.

You have to be the nicest person "fixing" beats on YT. I've been playing around since I was 11. taking it serious since 2016. I realized in that time that everyone has to learn, and that even some of the most basic BS can be made into art. Nice that you understand that. There are channels that absolutely roast people, when in all honesty their criticisms aren't even nessesarily valid, or don't appreciate the artists original idea. But you try to be nice. I appreciate that.

@@higorvaleriano8119 I didn't have it bad or anything. it just felt like a flu but with less congestion. I was basically just tired all time, had body aches and head aches, chills and a slight fever. I had some trouble breathing but that could have just been stress. honestly the stress was worse than the actual symptoms. it basically went away in like 3 days.

10:20 another ez fix is actually linking the top melody to the bottom melody and using a limiter to help draw out the sound of the one you want more dominant. This technique is also great for making your kick sound through a bass line.

The beat at 4:37 that you improvised after is by far the best beat I've heard from these videos in a while. What would be neat on that beat is if he kept the original and your mix and just tweak the original slightly. Both base lines are in key.... somewhat, but the layout is just... the shit is fire.
