  • Since 2008, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) has been receiving hundreds of students from Mexico to participate in a one-month mobility program on the campus. So, in 2017, we at the UKM Center for Latin American Studies (iKAL@IKMAS) had the opportunity to interview some of them about their experience in Malaysia. We made sure to film it on one of their very last days in Malaysia, so they’d actually give their real views.
For more information on the undergraduate mobility program (summer) that they participated in, please visit: www.ukm.my/pha/summer/
For a postgraduate study or research stay at the Center for Latin American Studies, please visit: www.ukm.my/ikmas or / ikal.ukm

Im a Malay malaysian have a feeling that native American, Hispanic or native mayan had relation to Malay people based on genome project. Since if you look a relic stone in java it had been crafted a man look alike as mayan tribe. A Malay archipelago is bigger than what you expect from Madagascar to hawaii in pasific.

They do! I mean, i dont know the correct term but the common people (as opposed to the ones u see on tv) very much looked like malays. Much like us, their original identity also got erased by the conversion to abrahamic religion. Also like us, the ones with arab/caucasian blood also looked down upon those who looked like melayu totok, thinking they are superior and better looking (like neelofa siblings looking down on us normie malays, when they are also categorically classifies as malays as well).

Hello, celah mana singapore dapat makanan tu semua, the exact version of it, kalau tak dari negara kita😂 Also, they think we are like Indonesia (just listen to your friends' description of us before getting here lol). Even nak describe saya pun, kawan saya kata una chinitas (saya melayu, jawa lagi). Video macam ni boleh rapatkan gap antara kita. Those hispanohablantes speak slower spanish when they are living in other countries! They win my respect to adjust their way of speaking to the non native spanish speakers as spanish is fast spoken most of the time
