Angela comes from Mexican singing royalty basically. Her grandmother and grandfather were HUGE. Her dad is HUGE and her uncles, brother, cousins all sing. Mexican pride! 🇲🇽
Absolutely!!!! Angela's Llorona is a young woman who hasn't had her heart broken too many times. She hasn't seen much yet. Natalia's? Ooohhh she done seen some shit for sure. Adult life of a woman... oof. The pains, hurts and struggles and bravery. Now Aida? Ah she understands life now. She has lived some and has that mature outlook, she is wise and I absolutely love the storytelling and how they did it 🥵🥵🥵😍😍😍
Aida Cuevas is a legend! The QUEEN of Mariachi. Look up some of her performances in her prime, you will be blown away by the power in her voice and her stage presence. "Huapango Torero" is my favorite but you will also enjoy "El Pastor" one of the most difficult songs to perform in Mariachi music
I love Angela Aguilar, Aida Cuevas, and Natalia Lafourcade's singing. Viva Mexico! 🇲🇽 I forgot to ask did anyone else get goosebumps hearing this masterpiece again? 😁
That almost yodel effect you mentioned is known in Mexico as "falsete" and it's relatively common in mexican folkloric music, you should listen to El pastor, Miguel Aceves Mejia.... the absolute king of mexican falsete.
@@martingaspar6918 I'm Mexican and let me tell you that Mon Laferte is way above and beyond all these Mexican ladies put together. She's her own franchise
You have a great ear. A lot of the vocalist type reactors typically do, but they also usually have very little emotive analysis ability. They basically hear the notes, pitch, etc extremely well without connecting to the bigger picture the way many people can. You're one of the few who picks up on the micro and macro in spades if that makes sense, keep it up.
The way they sing from soft to loud is exactly how the song is made to be sung. It’s a massively long song to sing. So much singers pick two/three paragraphs and from the song they like and sing that. It’s long.
Great reaction, three distinct performers, yet they sang so beautiful together! Aida Quevas killed it, love her!! Also Lila Downs live versions, very different and moving but than so are most of her versions, of Paloma Negra, Me Fallaste, La LLorona , and Cucurrucucu Paloma .
You see the evolution of a singer with these three performers, being Angela the most "underdeveloped" voice and Aida the true master. Excellent singers.
Holaa amigo hermosoo!! 🇲🇽. 🇲🇽
This song always makes me cry lol Natalia is a true Icon, her voice can do so many notes that sound like another instrument n then u realize oh shit it’s her voice! 💕
This vocal coach is the real deal ! If he can get that elated and flipped over this video and song like us Hispanics do without knowing our language… Bravo ! You have a wonderful musically trained ear. Thank you for such a great review in behalf of “LA LLORONA “ 🇨🇴👑
LOVED THIS! Thank you for reacting to "La Llorona". I would love for you to react to Selena!! She has various songs in both English & Spanish. "Dreaming of You" or "Como La Flor" are my favorites. I'm learning so much from you, thanks Justin!! :)
I would like you to listen to Natalia Jimenez México de Mi Corazón she is a spaniard who credit s her success to Mexico and in this album she captures the spirit of classic Mexican music and she features other Mexican singers of equal caliber my favorite is " la cigarra" it is a huapango and the use of falsetto is extraordinary and worth a reaction
It is a bit complicated to translate this song into other languages because in Mexico they use many words from the native languages that are in the country, the Spanish what I know speaks in Mexico is a beautiful and complicated mixture of dialect, native indigenous languages and the Spanish of Spain, without a doubt a beautiful, powerful culture with complex music and great singers
Love you😍 more than youre reactions👍😁 thanks to react to our mexican nusic😁 make sure to react to the ones who has more views😄 blessings for you and all youre. Fallowers😄👍
I know my english is not good enough, but I tried to translate the song: -Angela: One day you were coming out of a temple, Llorona, I saw you when I was passing by (2) Beautiful Huipil (drees) you wore Llorona, I confused you with the Virgin (2) Ay of me , Llorona, Llorona, Llorona, of a lilies field (2) The one who doesn't know anything about love, Llorona, knows nothing about sorrows. (2) -Natalia: If it's because I love you, you pretend, Llorona, you pretend that I love you more (2) If I already gave you my life , Llorona, what else do you want? You want more! (2) Ay of me Llorona, Llorona, Llorona you're my chunca (beloved) (2) They could force me to stop loving you, Llorona, but they can't force me to forget you (2) -Aida: I don't know what happens to the flowers, Llorona, the flowers of the cemetery (2) When the wind moves them, Llorona, it seems they're crying (2) Ay of me Llorona, Llorona, Llorona of the blue sky (2) Even if I have to sacrifice my life, Llorona, I will never stop loving you! (2) -Three of them: Ay of me, Ay of me, Ay of me Llorona...
Please react to the Cimorelli Sisters, their range and harmonizing is so impresssive as well as in control and they all have different voices but just works well.
