  • In this video, I break down the performance task required of many aspiring assistant principals to master before entering the leadership candidate pool. In many cases, you will have to write to a prompt that contains a piece of data, and from the data, you will have to detail strengths, weaknesses, solutions, and more.
I will show you how to do this quickly and easily, so you can enter the AP pool and apply for leadership positions.

Thank you for effectively breaking down this task. Would the memo to principal be considered another piece? Or was it part of that final paragraph?

It can be included or another piece. It just depends on what your prompt is asking.

Greetings! I love you videos. Some thoughts on the data, looking at students passing from 6th-8th (following diagonally) I would say they have a rockin 8th grade team (demonstrated consistent growth) and the 7th grade teachers need support (Scores drop every year with the new 6th grade group).

@@KathleenJasperEdD Would it be wrong to address the 7th grade data dip over the 6th grade scores because I noticed the dip too.

@@ladybugfrenzy7981 Not at all. The data can be interpreted a number of ways. All you have to do is explain your reasoning. You will probably see 1-3 things you can talk about in the data. However, pick one. Trying to tackle too much may result in an incoherent constructed response.
