great video, really enjoy it. What top speed did you get from your benly? Currently rebuilding mine with orginal carb/exhaust but before it was hard to get to 50.

It'll go about 60mph, my mate has one he drag races and it gets to 70. Use a speedo app on your phone to get an accurate speed because the old speedos are not accurate.

Very nice video Sir, may I ask what tyres you have on this bike? Sorry for the random question. I'm currently "restoring" a 79 Benly myself. at the moment it's frame, engine and a few bits on the handle bars. Clutch is seized so waiting for the posty on that, but I have to order some new tyres soon as the old ones were all cracked.
General mooching about on eBay I've found the Michelin 3.00-17 50P Reinf, and the Honda CD 175 Anlas NR-1 Tyre 3.00-17 50P.
The ones you've fitted on yours though look great.

I can't remember the make but they are 3" * 17" with a 50% aspect ratio, I did warm then in front of a heater before fitting them to make them nice and soft.

Hi fella, a nice bike I'm just starting a 79 cd200 and it's on 6volt system, would love to use LED indicators. Was that a kit you used for the indicators?
    Nice video 👍

I made the PCBs myself, I used a 555 timer, a MOSFET driver and a load of super bright orange LEDs from eBay. The problem is that the front and rear flash at slightly different speeds so I'll have to use one timer for all indicators.
