The SIP facility allows you to invest a fixed amount of money at predefined intervals in the mutual fund scheme of your choice. When you invest a fixed amount of money in equity mutual fund schemes at regular intervals without timing the stock market you end up investing at different stock market levels. You will be able to purchase more equity mutual fund units when the stock market is down and lesser units when the market is high for the same amount. Step-Up SIP helps you build a bigger corpus than a regular SIP and reach major financial goals faster.

Instead of step up sip that where we invest 68 lakhs, if we invest two regulars sip that will cost only 48 lakh we get the same corpus.

As per example shown for regular SIP vs Step up SIP, the amt shown for Step up is almost double against regular SIP but investment is more than double, almost 3 times. Then it will be more beneficial if we get 2 regular SIPs instead of opting for step up. Please explain if someone has better reason to opt for step up.

I am new as well but tax on long term capital gain is also a factor which is different for each type of fund ex equity, debt, Index have their separate time taxes. Generally long term capital/the profit per anum is 10% ex : more than 3 years but below 1 lakh profit earned p.a is tax free. And for short term capital gain tax is 15% normally within 3 years i think.
all in all you will be taxed twice if you have 2 different sips instead of a setp up one

Step up sip is basically used to increase ur money gradually, when u get a raise from office etc, but if u have more money now , then obviously it will be compounded better!
If I invest 10000 and for 3 years the calculator shows 30000 total in return if there is any fluctuations in the market then can my return amount vary or it may be the same
I really don't think investing in an SIP is a better idea if you're unemployed or have very less savings because the amount you'll invest is a lot considering the period of time you need to invest
Not as such as u think bro.. now 100 rs SIP is also there.. do it every mnth and when u land in a job consider to do stepup and choose other mutual funds also. I guess for unemployed 100 rs per mnth can be managed via tutions or from parents if possible

Is step up SIP is better than taking 2 SIP ex. 5000 step up SIP for 20 yrs invest 34 lakhs give 1 cr total AND 2 normal SIP of 5000 for 20 yrs invest 24 lakhs and give total of same 1 cr. . . Then hiw step up better. Pls explain someone

In all basis mirae asset large cap fund is best in my perception
As per your given example, regular sip is giving 4.16% return and step up sip is giving 2.72% return.
Its just we see a big amount in step up sip but compounding is less as we compare it with regular sip.
Please enlighten me if i am wrong.
Step up will not effect compounding if other factors remain constant.

Per the table at 9:45 the earnings were 7.5 % and that too without deduction of tax on profit. Now on the table at 9:29 fir 20 years what is the gaurantee that the return will be 12 % where in we saw the 6 month growth waw 7.5 %. All I am trying to say is we need to be as realistic as we should as 20 years there are so many factors on play.

I did a SIP of ₹5000 on 5th July qunat small cap fund Direct plan growth
the money was deducted same day showing unit allocation 2-4 working days but it didn't happen to me it was told in the order detail that your mutual fund has been rejected by qunat mutual fund and your money will be returned in 5 to 6 working days today it's been 23 days the money is not returned I also raise a ticket for it still I haven't received the money
Also I raise a ticket and drop a mail but still money not refunded
Sorry to say but your coustom support team is too lazy and unreasonable

Madam, आप एक एसा vedio बनाओ जो कि एक आदमी balance या हाइब्रिड फंड मे एक llumsump amount पार्क करले 3 4 फंड मे एंड then On my request a certain amount I can transfer as per my conveniance in high return aggressive mutual-fund as per my choice and then suppose I invested 1 Crore initially and then transfer 25 Lakhs in 25 months in aggressive fund and then I wish to swp @ 6% can withdraw as I am retiree.
If i dont do auto mandate then i have to pay manually on SIP date or what ??
