Its worse here, our economy is like a flailing fish, fighting for its life. The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Because of this it goes into convulsive spasms fighting to grow any way it can out of desperation. Tricks, gimmicks, rule changes try to stimulate the economy and prevent it from falling but they only bring temporary relief to people since, when you factor in inflation we are declining.
Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. Investing is the only way to make your money grow and unless you have an exceptionally high income, investing is the only way most people will ever have enough money to retire.

A great way to automatically switch the regular sip to direct sip, But i have seen almost no one or nowhere it's mentioned that if you have a running sip and you want to switch, then IND money will switch all your invested fund to the direct plan and will start a new sip of same amount on the new direct plan. but IND money will not cancel your exiting sip, so you will have 2 sip running from the next sip date(one with the regular plan from your old broker and one new direct sip with INDmoney.) you will have to manually cancel any running sip with your old broker.
Yes personal experience. If you have existing plan with a broker/bank you will need to visit your local branch or CAMS center to get it cancelled. And now you have a lump sum money left with you ( now you can follow Ankur's suggestions, which is called systematic transfer plan. Correct me if I'm wrong)

I had a question regarding lump sum investment. Let's suppose we are doing a lump sum investment every 6 months instead of SIP. Example: instead of investing 5k per month. I invest 30k this month and then likewise 30k after another 6 months. Wouldn't that be more beneficial in case we plan to do this for 10 years?
Hii sir, m so impressed with ur clarifications on mutual funds. But m new to this and willing to invest. Small query, m using indmoney on ur suggestion and wanna start with SIP (index fund). My confusion is, if I plan to invest 3000 per month, can I withdraw in my need (ofcourse after 3 years as u suggest). Regards

I already watched it 2 years ago but i didn't understand so I'm watching it again in July 2024. But still i don't understand. I think i have to do meditation for 3 months first, maybe then i will be able to understand.
Thanks for making this video, very informative for someone like me who had no idea about SIP. But one thing you missed is how to start "Direct SIP", you only talked about switching, probably to accommodate the advertisement I believe. Hoping if INDmoney has that option when starting a new SIP. Thanks!
Hi Ankur, I understood SIP very clearly from this video. Thanks for this. Can you also please extend this and explain how will tax be applied, If I go for an SIP? Also, how can we save tax, through tax harvesting, if we do an SIP in say Index Mutual Fund (Nifty)? Thank you.
The last part you mentioned about investing the lumpsum in a debt mutual fund and converting it to a SIP is primarily a Systematic Transfer Plan (STP). Could you share any resources if you have invested in the same?

Hi 👋 Ankur sir, I am doing Lumpsum of same x amount every month but not SIP, but with the date I feel comfortable with. Its a manual lumpsum i do every month, how it is different from SIP, is it a safer option ?
Yes it's very safe as far as you invest consistently. I would say your investments are smarter than SIP since you choose your date of investment so that you get more profits unlike the fixed date of SIP
Please make a video on how exactly compounding works in a SIP Coz in the end when we sell a fund, what we get is just simply dependent on the nav at that point of time.. So how do we use compounding in this case
I feel there is no compounding in SIP since what ou said is correct. There is no such thing called compounding in SIP. You buy units and sell them on specific nav. And based on it you make profits
Thanks for this video and also thanks to those who recommended Rosie for her good works. Y'all have to know that making money digitally is the main key to survival now, as the government is hesitant on helping poor masses. I also recommend Rosie to people who wishes to earn huge proflt.
That’s why you need a professional broker that we make trade and much profit for you, I recommend Rosie she has been trading for me for some years now and I’m very much comfortable with her.
Thank you! Great information. Question: what if I have a time crunch and want to invest a lumpsum, instead of SIP, when the market tumbles? Good idea as long as it falls to relatively low levels?
Hi Ankur, That was a great Video. I have a question, currently, my portfolio is having ELSS (Regular), Flexi Cap (Regular), and Hybrid Equity (Regular, a recent lumpsum transaction). Does switching this regular growth to a Direct growth is charged on switching or has any exit load? And as I can see NAV for Direct growth is more like that of regular growth how does it impact my current and future investment.
SIP is just a method. Even if app denotes as lumpsum. You can lumpsum small every month if you you don't want that automated method. But then you have to invest manually monthly.

Where does compounding play a role when you're investing via SIP?
I don't think there is any compunding in SIP. You just accumulate stocks or mutual funds units at low price and sell at high price in future
Compounding simply means getting interest over principal & previous interest. It'll work same as lumpsum.
Wariko Sir, I had invested lumpsum on 3 equity mutual funds during August 2020 which have now provided a return of more than 50%. Will it be a good decision if I put the money in a debt mutual fund and start SIP in equity mutual funds in the same way you explained?
No since the nav value has already increased, it's ok to maintain that lumpsum investment

13:43 .... I'll retire when I get something like this in my portfolio !!
Sir you forgot to blur it out !

Amazing explanation 🔥🔥🔥🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿❤️❤️❤️ thank you Sir
Hii sir, m so impressed with ur clarifications on mutual funds. But m new to this and willing to invest. Small query, m using indmoney on ur suggestion and wanna start with SIP (index fund). My confusion is, if I plan to invest 3000 per month, can I withdraw in my need (ofcourse after 3 years as u suggest).

Is there any difference between smallcase SIP and mutual fund SIP ?

Hi Sir, thanks for making this great video. Could you please take into consideration the TER (Total Expense Ratio) as well in your calculations?
ER more than 1.5% is quite high in my opinion.

Thank you.
This'll help majorrrr

The last part you mentioned about investing the lumpsum in a debt mutual fund and converting it to a SIP is primarily a Systematic Transfer Plan (STP). Could you share any resources if you have invested in the same?
Correct how to keep money in dept fund??

Hi 👋 Ankur sir, I am doing Lumpsum of same x amount every month but not SIP, but with the date I feel comfortable with. Its a manual lumpsum i do every month, how it is different from SIP, is it a safer option ?
Yes it's very safe as far as you invest consistently. I would say your investments are smarter than SIP since you choose your date of investment so that you get more profits unlike the fixed date of SIP
What you do is actually better than SIP as it will give you better control to invest when the market is low ! Good luck.
Please make a video on how exactly compounding works in a SIP
Coz in the end when we sell a fund, what we get is just simply dependent on the nav at that point of time..
Wow 🤩 I’m happy with her strategies I really love her methods
Trading with an expert is the best strategy for newbies and busy investors who have little or no time to monitor trade.
That’s why you need a professional broker that we make trade and much profit for you, I recommend Rosie she has been trading for me for some years now and I’m very much comfortable with her.

Where is the excel sheet?
Thank you! Great information. Question: what if I have a time crunch and want to invest a lumpsum, instead of SIP, when the market tumbles? Good idea as long as it falls to relatively low levels?
Good luck to you to find that time
Thank you. I think for irregular cash flows we need to use XIRR instead of CAGR.
Excellent !! apart from financial advise, u got some serious sense of humor 🙂
Is it a good idea to invest 5k every month as a lumpsum amount in mutual fund instead of SIP?
5k every month is sip only..bro
Every month investing SIP only. If you automate it we call it SIP or if you do it manually it's called lump-sum
SIP is just a method. Even if app denotes as lumpsum. You can lumpsum small every month if you you don't want that automated method. But then you have to invest manually monthly.
