I like this new set, it seems like they changed the plastic back to something closer to the old D&D minis and I'm very happy about that. The plastic in this set (and in the old sets) is less brittle and feels more malleable, which I prefer
For sure. Extremely malleable material in these.
Yeah! Easier to pour hot water on , forcing the odd angled bits to stay in proper place for then to quickly use cold water to lock the new positions in. I tried with an Emerald Dragonborn form the Fizban set, the one with brown leather coat and tankard.. Had to give up, so hes still in a slightly bent backwards position as if drunk!

Great video. The paint jobs on these are really nice overall, have already bought that awesome ogre on the after market and will be hunting down more after seeing the selection here.

When I open the rest, I'll compare them to what you got and see if the brick matches.
First off. The two minis you get in each Super booster is PRE set. So the blue and green dragons are ALWAYS together. Same for the Black Dragon rider and that undead thing. And the Lesser Death Dragon is in combo with the Drak siege thingy⚠️And heres the weird thing. Just a tiny story from me..Sooo. One of my favorite online+retail store here in Norway.. well.. they sold up to 26 single Superboosters with 2 minis each. Thats the odd thing, also odd was that the release date was 31.03.23. Got em WAY early! Not complaining! SO! There were 4 left and I got em. Opened them with pounding heart today because I needed a GREEN dragon, two would be nice. I like having more than one. And I got TWO! Perfect! I will use the less good lookin for my Phandelver Campaign and I have a White one from old Elemental Evil set. The Blue one Im not sure. Got plenty blue and bronze wyrmlings/ juvenile for the Stormwreck campaign.

My heart just bleeds to see paintjobs like these on cool minis. But i totally get that not everybody has the time or dedication to paint their minis. Still sad, especially for the money they cost. Anyways... so.... next game a behir army you say?
Some of them are botch jobs for sure and some others are pretty decent. For what it's worth, game wise, they are really out of the box ready to play. It's the actual mini painters that will notice all the imperfections lol
Think I will scrape toghether the odd collection of spare minis and build a homebrew around that. Including a Gem Stalker, Fizban Draconian Dreadnaught/ Foot Soldier, treasure beetle, young Crystal Dragon, Earth and Air cult warriors a dragonette, solar angel, an ogre... Regarding Fizbans Draconian. THOSE 5 follow the same tier system as the Dragonlance once. But instead of just metallic dragon eggs getting twisted. These draconians are mix of Chromatic, Gem and Metallic. The Dreadnaught is actually a mix of Blue, Sapphire and Silver dragon varityies crammed into an egg I geuss, well the genetic material so to speak. Its awesome
Dragonlance means draconians. Wizkids didn't understand the assignment. My pull rate for draconians is the same as this guy. 1 per brick.I have to believe they are doing it on purpose to push the warband sales.
Wizards literally has an entire separate package that is draconians only.

I just can’t support the blind box method of sale. Go buy $700 worth of minis trying to get the one $5 mini you want. Not to mention if you want to get multiples
I mean, it was $135 at my FLGS. I TOTALLY get not wanting to just guess to see what you may or may not get. But you can always go online and buy these minis individually after release. So I think this is just one method that some may find more entertaining in it's method rather than it's actual delivery of product ^_^
@@Nat1Fun did you get every mini for $135? Don’t get me wrong; If you find it enjoyable to open blind boxes and discover what goodies are inside, then go for it. I have no desire to tell others how they should spend their leisure money. I just don’t enjoy it, and while I’m generally a big fan of capitalism and business, I can’t shake the feeling it’s an unseemly way to get customers to spend more money on things they don’t want in order to get what they do. I gave up on CCG’s 20 years ago for the same reason.
Clearly it’s a successful sales model and lots of folks seem to like it. I just can’t bring myself to buy them.
