If you had asked me before this video, I would have said Copperlock without hesitation, but you've got me re-evaluating.
    Good on yous.

I can' answer your question, Pete, as I don't own any tribal locks. You sure showed some delightful knives there, brother! Thanks for sharing.

I have both and like the Copperlock handle better. It just fits my hand.
Checked the Case web site and neither knife is listed there.

My Ford from Case was on a SMKW video recently and he said the larger Copperlock knives will be making a comeback. I'm a fan of the Mini Copperlock. I think they're perfect size and I love that sexy Copperlock clip blade.

Nice pattern. I bought the copperlock when they first appeared back in 1997. I guess why i havent gotten hold of the tribal lock I figured it was too similar to the copperlock.

Both are nice patterns, the tribal lock a simpler looking pattern that looks more like a working knife. But this group with the great scales on them are great out on the town dress knives, thanks for the video, Pete, and keep cool, you guys are getting hotter weather than Miami,

I like my Tribal a little more than my Copperlock for EDC, they are both good looking solid lockbacks but for me I like the Tribals blade the way it curves on the spine & it's great for all kinds of tasks it has a solid feel to it...I do love clip points but i feel the tip of the clip point blade is weaker than the tip of the Tribal .. Great video buddy....👍

I only had one Tribal Lock and only for a day before I sent it back. I got one at a clearance price from a known Case dealer. Unfortunately, the reason it was on clearance must have been the cosmetic imperfections. The first time I opened the knife the shield hit me in the face after it flew off the knife. Upon closer inspection it looked as though somebody had carried the knife. I sent the knife back for a refund. The one I had was Navy Blue jigged bone with a red shield.

Stay safe in that heat buddy!
Trying to pick a favourite knife is a bit like someone asking you to pick your favourite child 😀
Both fantastic patterns and I really like them both. If really pushed I’d probably say the Tribal lock (today anyway 😀)
Thanks for this one and you stay safe out there brother 😎👍🏻

For me, between those two patterns it’s a draw. I like both. And which one I carry just depends on what blade shape I’m in the mood to carry. I really like that orange synthetic tribal you’ve got there, I wish I would have picked one of those up back when they had them at Shepherd Hills. Cheers, buddy!

I like both, but if I had to pick, I'd go with the tribal lock. I just love the Zulu spear and gradual sweep from tip of blade to backspring to end cap. Then of course, I feel that case does better fit & finish on the tribal lock that they do on the copperlock. I do like the clip on the copperlock and that they come in full size and mini. But if made to choose, I'd pick Tribal Lock. Great video buddy.

Both are great, but I prefer the tribal lock. Can't go wrong with either one! I have a yellow Delrin SS tribal lock and a whiskey bone CV tribal lock. That big CV blade looks great with a lot of patina!

Jersey, you bring up a great point and great discussion as to which is better. I have a Tribal lock in 6.5 stagbone and a large Copperlock in red jigged bone. I carry both, enjoy both, and use both. I am not sure why the tribal lock has not made made a bigger impact. I grew up when the buck lock backs were King so I really appreciate lockbacks. Both of these are fantastic knives but the tribal seems to fill my hand better. I do wish I had at least purchased one more case tribal lock. Anyway thanks again for showing great knives and bringing up a great debate topic.

Got me thinking last night Fortunately today I was at the local Tractor Show and Flea Market and they had a great booth with higher end traditional knives
So I was able to get a really nice nearly new Pocket Worn Blue Copperlock for $65 and a near mint Large Saddlehorn NKCA 1991 1890 of 4000 for $85 The Copperlock will go to my older son for his birthday but the other one will go in my collection
I also scored a Remington Bush Pilot Bullet Knife in fair to good condition that I will have to clean and sharpen But hey it’s my first Bullet
    Thanks for the inspiration

I’ve got a tribal lock with jigged buffalo covers, trusharp blade. Shiny, razor sharp and simply exquisite whilst also being plenty robust. Beautiful and functional gent’s pocket jewelry. For me, it’s tribal lock all day long. Just big enough for self defense if needed yet so darned stunningly beautiful that it is not offensive for the liberals of the world. I just think that the tribal lock is better looking and more robust. Nice video. Thank you

My thoughts.. First, the Tribal Locks look fantastic! My favorite of the ones shown here is the 50th anniversary edition, man I’d love to have one! The whiskey bone is awesome too! I’d get any of them except for the orange, that’s just me, just have never been too excited by Delrin or anything close to Delrin-looking in any color. But the others are stunning! Second thought, if doing a video comparing two styles of knives and asking for thoughts imho it would be good to show an example of each style. Not being a Case collector I had no idea what a Tribal Lock was until seeing these and they look cool! I’m not sure what a Copperlock is either. I know what a Copperhead is, maybe it’s similar? Going to go look one up, just would have been more convenient to see both together just sayin lol (but guessing most of your audience knows)

For myself I like the Tribal speaks too me much better. I do not own one and hope to one day get one. I think the blade shape is a better working blade, but both the Tribal and Copper Lock are amazing knifes. The Blade shape just looks like it wants to slice things and a lot of it. Your Whisky 🥃 bone 🦴 is absolutely beautiful Pete. And love that shield 🛡️. Tribal for the W for me Pete. Thanks for another great video ❤️👍
