I'm glad you released this video, there are moments here that I didn't know about. At the moment, I consider this theory to be the most truthful in my opinion.
Thank you so much for the investigation of Melly. You discovered interesting facts I did not see or notice before. Sounds very reasoned. Melly is a true bee qeen ;) I'm kinda new in the game. I still don't completely understand why the participants were invited? I understand that there are supposed to participate in some "deadly games", but did participants know or seriously understand what they were going for? Especially Alice DeRoss who from the beginning looks like so innocent and believes that she is coming to uncover some truth? I really like the storyline but I think I am still missing the main reason they are invited and how this invitation was announced... Thank you for your hard job!
Hi. Glad this video can be of some use. As for the participants coming into the deadly game, they don't know what will await them in the deadly game. This could be tracked by reading Emily's diary in the prologue, Norton's second letter, and so on. They were selected for various reasons, but mainly because they have something they want the most : be it gold, redemption, or such alike. The invitations were sent by letters. Idk if there's any other method to invite the participants though
@@SilminaIDVthank you! It seems I started to get it. I replayed the first and the second parts of "Ashes of Memories" and started to get it. It seems, yes, all came for the reward they need from playing these games but they didn't realise what kind of games there are.
This vid is so interesting thank uuuuu I didn't know about her name meaning and many other stuff , idk why but I find it so obvious that she is the one who k*lled her husband.
this theory actually makes a lot of sense but what about her husband being abusive? was his abuse only limited to restricting melly from her research? i feel like melly wouldn’t have killed somebody just because she couldn’t study about insects
Her husband being abusive is hinted at in her second and third deduction notes iirc. Melly would've been at the edge after so much freedom was taken from her. In Orfeo, she hinted at this as well, when stating that the mammoth should not be kept inside a net. That's a metaphor of freedom imo
@@mvyrznn a separation agreement is not a divorce paper. It's just a term discussing how both husband and wife handling matters separately. Usually this is done due to several reasons : 1. Both sides want to keep their marriage life 2. Their religion forbid divorce 3. They want to raise their kids together, and so on They may still be living under the same house. It's possible that Melly's husband still has some influence in her after the separation agreement
As a Main entomologist, no matter the proof, I will still believe that Melly didn't kill her husband!. At least until her hunter persona came out and whe get full detail on that hehe. Great video! I like how you explain us everything.
Well, this is just a theory with supporting proofs, and not a definitive answer. NetEase might have changed the story altogether. Let's just wait and see. And thank you :)
There's a theory (a wild one) that she's actually a negro, hence her mark on her cheek that is supposed to be her true skin. Since her mother's name is Ndlovu, it originated from Africa. Her mother wants here to just led a traditional life, but not with Melly. Hence, she moved to Europe and tried to live like a European lady, to the point of making her skin look white. Little did she know that Europe in that era still holds the patriarch tradition. Hence, she hates white, and she hates the mirror aka herself. Please take it with a grain of salt because the only supporting theory here is the fact that her name was originally Melly Ndlovu
In my opinion,She works outdoors. and live with bees The red marks on the cheeks are probably from bees or from irritation because face coverings protect more from insects. It's the outfit she always wears.
+People will look in the mirror to see I am look good? but for Melly, she work in the garden with her bugs,It probably wouldn't make her look as good as a normal young woman. Women in general don't hide their faces because they want to show off their beauty, but for Melly's work, stop looking in the mirror 555. Because if you are interested in other people's eyes You probably won't be able to do the work you love. In first story background, she said " I gave up the flashy appearance and chose to be born again" One meaning of white is marriage. Her life after marriage is not as good as expected,so she doesn't like white colour.
Who's the next character that you wanted in the next video guys?
Mary plss (if you can find anything abt her)
Hmm Mary is kinda tricky but let me try (she used 2 identities, Mary Kreiburg and Marie Antoinette)
@@SilminaIDV thank youuu, I main ba but I’ve never really understood her lore the best because of her two backstories so this would be really helpful
So maybe melly's hunter identity will be "queen bee"
I believe so. let's wait and see :)
I thought so
she say "...for my sincerity..." 7:26,
but she smiling at the seat 8:32
what ?
Melly, please tell the truth please please...
To her husband?

Very interesting, I'm really loving your lore videos and the research put behind them.
Glad you enjoy it! Thanks ^^
This is a theory I am quite interested in and the evidences supporting this is quite compelling. Well done!

There would be, but maybe it'll be a long time before it is released
