How about making a plate bracket that screws in where the tow hook goes ? .. Easy on and off without modifying anything? Probably won't look as good as where you want to put it but
Im glad we don't need front plates here.

I’m not planning on removing tow hook. Other work is getting in the way of this project but it will happen.
