Chuck Greene yeah I saw that too. Had to rewind to make sure. I’m now wondering if they’ve been sneaking him in to loads of videos for ages or if that was the first time!
@@vanhalen4life1 Tetris Effect, LEGO Star Wars: the Force Awakens, LEGO Harry Potter, Nippon Marathon, Concrete Genie and CTR. It's actually 6 :/ I was supposed to save up money for move controllers, FFVII Remake and PS5, but it's already not going according to the plan :D
Got Control, Fallen Order and Death Stranding for Christmas, the next day I got the original DOOM and almost got Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3, and that Deadly Premonition Switch port is looking real inviting too, please hide my wallet from me
This was actually a 2019 resolution that I messed up. My gf, bless her, got me Final Fantasy XIII for my birthday, because she knows I love FF so much. I really wanted to honour her and let that to be my last game of 2019. So, upon reaching chapter 11, and knowing the game had 13 chapters, I began a marathon of what I thought were just the last couple of hours of the game. Alas, probably 20 hours later, I was still not done, because nothing could have prepared me for how ridiculously long chapter 11 was going to be nor how much I was going to struggle. Thankfully, and after a massive crunch on New Year's Eve, I eventually finished the game! ...But not before the new year rolled in, sadly. At least it was my first beaten game of 2020, so I guess that's something?
It's probably late for that, but I'd love a platinum let's play series of Rob doing everything on Skyrim, heck even the DLC related trophies. Those past streams, where he got some trophies, were so good! He is even responsible for me buying Skyrim on PS4 and playing for myself and I never, ever, thought I'd like to play a RPG full of fantasy tropes. I'm loving it and would like to see more Rob and Skyrim!
Normally I only watch on Tuesday and Friday after they changed formats. Don't have multiple hours to spare watching streams and if I did I'd rather use the time to play games myself.
I'm working hard to make sure I don't mess up my resolution. My resolution started around mid-September last year. It was around that time that the western release of Persona 5 Royal got a rumored release window. I love P5. And I had 79 plats then - somewhat close to 100. So I decided I needed to make P5R my 100th plat. I had kept a schedule. Fixed a certain number of days for each game. And then they announced the release date and I realised I had fallen behind and needed to pick up the pace. I only managed 10 plats in about 15 weeks. But I'm gonna do it...for P5R.
Idk if I’ll buy ps5 day one, there’s only one release game that I’ve seen and it doesn’t really look like something I’d enjoy that much. But if it does play games from ps1 to PS4 and adds trophies to ps1 and ps2 games then that’d make it hard to resist buying it lol
@@Jack29165 I told myself if PS5 doesn't launch with at least 3 exclusives I won't be getting it day one. I can honestly wait till the following year on Black Friday to try and catch a discount. Last two consoles I got day one were the Wii, and PS3.....I waited in line outside of two different Walmart's for over 24 hours for both consoles........in November....in Pennsylvania.......never....again.
@@fullymetalotaku at age 32 I've become a budget gamer now. Now something like The Last of Us 2 or God of War 2 I may put a preorder down on, maybe, but I find even if the game is super short or not even a great game and I spend between $10-20 for it then the overall experience is good no matter what. I got Rage 2 recently for $14 on an Amazon prime lightning deal. Campaign was only about 6 hours long, but I had a blast for that price!!!
My Gaming Resolution for 2020 is to play more games with other people. I've got a weird issue where my PS4 isn't compatible with my Internet so I'm forced to play offline. Getting people to come over to play couch co-op is harder the older you get, what with responsibilities and all, but I miss the fun of teaming up with a friend and conquering challenges together. I promised myself i'd platinum GOW, Detroit and Metro Exodus in 2019 but 2019 passed and i didn't do it. So...my new years resolution is still that. Given how many games are coming out this year that i wanna buy and platinum, i have a feeling i won't do it this year either lol
Resolution: Get the Platinum of Persona 5 before March. Progress: All right. Okumura Boss fight NG+ with 134/200 confidant events and 69% of the compendium. I think I'm going to make it in just under 400 hours total. Also, badger at 7:00 lower left corner
Well, it's good to see I'm not the only one who messed up 2020 already. Ended up playing bloodborne again and played it so much I called out of work for 3 days solid and got the platinum!! Team access for the win!
I feel Rob's entry. I have such a problem with sticking with a game until I get the platinum, I keep a list of games I need to go back to and platinum. It's at 7 games at the moment.
DELSIN!!!! My resolution is to try and work through at least SOME of my backlog before buying more games. Kind of hard with the January sale so tempting!
So far I'm on track. I just got the plat for Death Stranding about an hour ago. I'm pretty sure it will all go off the rails now that I don't have to focus on one epic game. It was a perfect game to grind over Christmas but that just means I now have to confront the backlog.
I have always been pretty good at zeroing in on the next best game to play, completing that game no matter how long it takes (doesn't always include platinum trophies, but at least to finish the campaign and do the game justice), then move on to the next one. By this time, I'm normally sick of game "A" and can't wait to get on with game "B" but I refuse to not get my money's worth out of a game before changing! But then, enter baby #2 this past February. I played a total of 30 different games this year and completed only 3: Kingdom Hearts 3, Secret of Mana, and one full game of XCOM 2. I played loads of other great games, but finished none of them. Therefore, my 2020 new year's resolution is to go back to "normal", that is to say actually finishing games before moving on.
I just finally wrapped up the platinum for Assassin's Creed Odyssey that I was supposed to get over the holiday break. I started playing it the week before Christmas so it took me the better part of a month. Fortunately, I stuck to my guns and avoided getting off into other games. Now I just need to press on through the DLC.
I have the opposite problem as Elle. I cannot stand having more than one game going at a time. Right now I'm alternating between Borderlands 3 and Days Gone and this is driving me crazy!
I might have messed up my son's 2020 by comparing our PS 2019 play stats. He's played 3 times more hours than me!! Naturally that will now be reviewed.
My gaming resolution is to get 3 platinum trophies in 2020. Which I only have 3 as of now, so that literally doubles my trophy count.... Gonna be a fun year. So far decided to go for final fantasy 15, Skyrim, and kingdom hearts. Subject to change.
I wanted to get at least 12 plats this year. It's not even the end of January and I've got 2 (Days Gone/Horizon Chase Turbo) already. I think this is going to be a good year
Delsin in to make sure we are paying attention. Nice touch. He finally returns for 2020 and the launch of the PS5. Will Delsin be on stage when SONY show it off for the first time
I'm playing god of war but I have horizon zero dawn on my shelf staring at me plus I keep looking at nier automata to buy along with ni no kuni 2! That's my year sorted! Not thinking about last of us 2
My resoultion was to reduce my pile of shame by not starting any games I have already beaten, I have a bad habit of replaying the same small group of games over and over while my pile of shame continues to grow. haven't broken it yet....
Every year is the same for me, I try to focus on one game at a time, but my backlog just keeps getting bigger and bigger, I got 3 games for Christmas. I have 17 games for PS4 and I don’t know how many on Nintendo Switch
Resolution: Finish off those Plats that only are 1 or 2 trophies missing (eg Bioshock 2 and The Witness in my case) What happened: Started new and got the Platinum in Skyrim and Goat Simulator... it's something, I guess?
My gaming New Years resolution is gonna be going for a couple of years, I have 295 games that are currently platinum-able everything from super meat boy to telltale’s back to the future, I don’t want to buy any new games until that number is under 100 it won’t be easy but I’m determined to get the number down
So.. Like Rob, I chose to go for one platinum at a time. I'm playing Ni no kuni now, but my brain's begging me to buy Okami. I hope I can keep my resolutions this year. :)
My gaming resolution is to get through my backlog of games, currently doing this via a week of gaming where I pick a single player game and play that for a week then I move onto the next one, currently going through Tales of Berseria.
My resolution is the same as every other year; finish the backlog! Made good headway in the last month and finished god of war, Spider-Man and Ratchet and Clank
You still haven't got the CTR Plat!? U should be jealous of me (the guy who did it whitin a month) btw Sidenote just got the plat for Darksiders so it all feels good atm, but keep up the good work, you'll get it... Someday.
1. Commit myself to completing the fantastic game that is Dragons Dogma and stop restarting it after many hours of progress cause I wish I made my character and or pawn look totally different. 2. Finally Platinum Skyrim. I've only got one tiny bit left to do but it's the bit I really cant bloody stand so I but it down and walked away rather than just enduring it cause it's not even that long a bit in the grand scheme of things.
My gaming resolution is to just play ONE game all the way through without jumping to another game. Was playing Death Stranding, then randomly got distracted by Fist of the North Star, then EDF Iron Rain, The Surge 2 ... Just need to finish ONE of them! :P
Sorry to break it to you Rob but I'm currently going for the death stranding platinum too and despite having done 118 LoL deliveries I'm still fairly far away from the great deliverer trophy!
Also my gaming resolution was to get the platinum for the Witcher 3 and 100% on the DLCs which I'm very close to but then got derailed by death stranding! 😂
Ditto. It was ‘beat Deus Ex Mankind Divided straight through’. But then Assassin’s Creed 2 Ezio Collection went on sale on the PS store. And now all I want is to platinum it!
I plan on getting 20 plats this year in order to celebrate 2020. Have gotten 2 already and i should be able to get 3 more this month. Hopefully my resolution will be successful
My resolution was to finish my backlog of games before buying another but i already brought outer worlds. I couldnt resist because i love fallout and it reminded me of that game in some ways.
I made myself the rule that I wasn’t gonna buy any games until I beat another one, but then that was ruined when I abandoned code vein when I bought the Witcher 3
Just like Rosie I wanted to play God of War. However I saw on my trophy list that i could get the platinum for the Sega Genesis Classics game. So I went over to play that and I got the trophy. I was enjoying myself so much though that I started playing all the old Shining Force games. That is where I am right now and with FFVII, RE3, and Cyberpunk on the horizon I'm not sure I'll have time. Now my plan is to finish God of War sometime in this decade lol
I said I wasn't going to play anything but assassin's creed odyssey for the whole month of December while on my Christmas vacation but for some unknown reason I stopped playing it & started playing Generation Zero and loved it way more than Odyssey. But I did put 172 hours into Odyssey.
I spend WAY too much time playing "forever" games. FF14 and Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia are my downfall. I have missed SO many good games over the last ten years because I pour all my time into MMOs and card games. I even buy them and never play them. There are dozens and dozens of games in my Steam library and shelf that I've never even played, let alone poured actual time into. There is something to be said for just doing whatever you want, but there is something to be said for actually having and practicing discipline. It's a fine line I guess.
So far, I've kept my gaming resolution for 2020... although I'm cheating a bit because my resolution has nothing to do with video games. My resolution was to get involved in some way with Dungeons & Dragons, and last night I completed my second session with a weekly group and am looking forward to more. The world better watch out for the likes of Kefnen Flintfist, Hill Dwarf Sorcerer. I do have a stack of video games I'd like to get through before the PS5 comes out, but I didn't make that an official resolution, largely because I don't think there's any way I can get through them in that time.
My plan was to go back to Nioh after I platted Secret of Mana remake. I still haven't gone back to it. I stream on Twitch, but I've been nervous of late.
My resolution is to keep clearing my backlog of games, 1 at a time. By clearing I mean platinuming. So I hope to clear 1 a month. I am almost there with Killzone Shadow Fall. Next in line is Assassin's Creed Syndicate. I recently started streaming my Platinum progression so I hope to develope that more too.
I am actually doing quite well. My Resolution was to finally play my collection of games. And till now I do it. But yeah I will break some time later in the year
Yeah I've been focusing on Spiderman for PS4 trying to play it for my first plat ever. I also want to plat FF8 remastered which is probably my favorite game of all time...no it definitely is. Need to get back on that too. I also want to get CTR remastered version. Loved that game growing up.
So my plan is to finish the resident evils available on ps4 in prep for RE3... RE1 and RE0 done so far nearly through RE2. See if i can do em all before being distracted...
Did anyone else see delsin in the corner in the beginning of Rob's entry?

I used to do that too. Glad I stopped, personally.
But yeah I will break some time later in the year
It's a puppet! Delson popping his lil head up 😂
8:55 yes more PES with Dave please! More Rave Jackspear!
Ohhh Rob, how do you STILL not have the Skyrim Platinum? :D
Mine was to start the Witcher 3 at the new year since we were moving but didn't have it installed and internet got delayed another week.
When is Rob back on the Friday Feature?
‘Weekly Checklist”? Is that anything? ‘Weekly Wednesday checklist’? ‘ wild wacky wonderful Wednesday Access’
Good video, guys. I don't think I made any new years resolutions for games.
The Day After Tuesday Checklist
Gaming resolutions? Also known as... Squad goals?
Watched this the other day... Back to check on something from this week's Friday feature 😂
Mine was to get through my PS4 gaming backlog but i have ended up adding to it by buying more games.
