    Ben Chew is absolutely adorable!. He is clearly a very kind and humble man, but his expressions during trial were so amazingly animated and entertaining!😂 I adore him just as much as I do Camille. The entire team was Incredible together, and I really hope the others don't feel left out when reading so many talk about how great Camille and Ben were. Ben and Camille were given more time to shine than the others were, but they also did their job amazingly with what time and opportunity they were given!

      I also love the attorney who cross examined the photo expert from the Amber side. His name is Mr. Wayne Dennison, he mostly crossed the critical witnesses and experts in their respective fields like Dr. Spigeal and psychiatrist lady as well the surgeon who said JD's finger trauma was not caused due to bottle hitting. He was dark horse of the Ben Chew team.

      @@christianefiorito3204 They were already some of the top lawyers in the country before this case, which is why Johnny picked them. They honestly didn’t even need this trial, as their careers were already bolstered by their impeccable track records. To the average person, it seems like this trial significantly elevated their careers and made them more well known, which for the average person who could never afford their services, that would be true, but among the world of their high profile and/or extremely wealthy clients, they were already well known and top of their field. They certainly got more publicity from the average everyday people watching this trial, but that’s not really going to have an extreme impact on their careers as the average people (like us) who were watching this trial will never be able to even dream of hiring them or affording their fees. Point being, they will most definitely have no issue continuing to have high paying clients pouring into their office, but that was already happening before this trial began, because high profile/extremely wealthy clients in need of these types of lawyers already knew about them and knew they were some of the top lawyers in their field of law. This trial really didn’t have any affect on that because they were already at the top and well known. The primary impact this trial had on the legal team was specifically in relation to Camille. Because of this trial, she became a partner in her firm, which is huge for her and well deserved. Aside from that though, business will continue to be booming for this firm just as it was before Johnny hired them, because when you’re already at the top, there’s not much left that can continue to be elevated. They’re just that good at what they do, and it was an incredible thing to witness!

    He's certainly right about the accountability thing. I think what was very damning for Heard in the jury's eyes was her back-and-forth with Vasquez about the donations. She should have simply said "No, I have not yet fulfilled my pledge." from the start. Instead, she tried to move the goal-posts around in a futile attempt to get around having to make that admission. That was extremely disingenuous of her. She knew damned well what she was being asked, and I believe the jury decided right then and there, if not earlier, that this was a woman who simply couldn't be taken at face value.

    • @SyntheticHalo
      @SyntheticHalo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +112

      The thing about the donations is also that Camille asked AH if she donated the money & AH kept pointing out that she *pledged* the money. She repeated it over & over again & wanted to make sure that everyone knows she pledged it. Just after Camille said that she isn't talking about pledges but *donations* aka *payments*, is when AH said she'd use donate & pledge synonymously. If she truly would use those words synonymously, then she would've answered with ''yes'' do Camilles question, instead of insisting that she pledged the money.
      It was such a cheap attempt. It was like watching a 3 year old lie who has been caught eating sweets right before dinner.

    The old adage ends with, "....you cannot fool all the people all the time." Her legal team, family and friends sunk with the weight of falsehoods she brainwashed them with.
    Elaine was grossly disrespectful to the jurors, by accusing them of breaking their oath and being starstruck...effectively alleging failure of duty. I can tell you, were that the case, there would be a hung jury, because there would be at least ONE holdout principled juror! Enough, Elaine, your argument is weak. The world did NOT believe him when he told it. They cast him out, they believed her!
      It took YEARS, him being defamed and exposed for every little aspect of his life and mountains of evidence for the world to believe him.
      Say what you want about Amber Heard, but she was right. No one believed him, everyone believed her simply because of sexism. If it wasn't for this trial, he would have had his life destroyed to this day.

    I started out very much in the Heard camp, I was aghast at the allegations against JD, I didn't see any of the UK trial and when he lost his defamation case against The Sun/Dan Wootton, it further supported Heard's claims. Then the US trial started, which I sat and watched in its entirety, and found my views change 180 based solely on the inconsistencies in testimonies from AH and her witnesses, the audio/video/pictorial evidence which showed tampering and her entire demeanour in court. I found Depp's testimonies painful at times to listen through, he brought this case knowing full well every aspect of his life would be scrutinised, that there would be no hiding place for him and I was struck by how genuine a person he is. He makes no bones about who he is. I found him consistent throughout including in audio/video clips. What was most telling for me were his repeated requests for AH to give him space, to give them both space so that they could discuss issues in a more rational manner, and she would refuse, becoming antagonistic and aggressive when she didn't get her way.
    There could have been only one outcome for the US trial, I'm pleased the jury were unanimous in their decision and Mr Depp is able to move on with his life, which he clearly is and deservedly so. JD was represented by the lawyers he deserved and they genuinely believed in his veracity, and stuck to the facts/evidence throughout the case. They are a credit to the legal system and those they represent.
    The actions of AH/her PR and legal team post trial verdict, and the continued smear campaign against those who were either simply doing their job or were not swayed by the chicanery used to ruin a man's reputation, career and attempt to ruin him legally, and are a reflection of the rot one would expect to see at the bottom of a barrel.

      Women who think they have a right to slap or hit men, but men can NEVER hit them back in self defense absolutely disgust me. They make us all (women) look bad. When I was a kid, my dad told me to never hit or slap a man, aside from self defense. He said, "If you hit a man, you're putting yourself in a man's place, so you need to be ready (expect) to get hit back." I agree. No one has the right to put their hands on anyone else, uninvited.

    Mr Chew is absolutely correct, IMO. I was supportive and believed Amber Heard from the beginning. As the evidence came forward, as testimony was progressive my mind completely changed...based on evidence and testimony. Everyone knows, in a relationship, it takes two people to have things go right, and things go wrong. Johnny seemed more than willing to cop to his behavior (which truly must have sucked, being in a relationship with a drunk and habitual drug user), but Amber seemed to present herself as always logical and reasonable, which was not factual. You could hear how out of control she was on tapes, how she pursued him. Nah, it was the correct decision, and what the attorneys for Amber are doing is wrong. It's like they're still calling him an abuser and trying to discredit him again. I don't get it. Let it go man.
