I've been carrying the XL for about three years now and it's my favorite carry pistol. It's just so easy to conceal. I shoot it better than my G19 too. Very accurate little pistol. I've got a considerable amount of wear on the finish on the slide from carrying it so much. "Make room your safe" the title of the video. My XL has never seen the inside of my safe, because its always in a holster with me.
Picked up my Sig XL about a month ago and have fell in love with it. The first magazine , I was right on my target. Picked up the Shield plus also ,, it also shoots great 👍
For those with larger hand try the "TACTICAL DEVELOPMENT" pro ledge base plate (large), as it really is a great improvement on the grip. I put them on ALL my XL mags.

I have the XL with the Romeo Zero, and I absolutely love it. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a great carry gun to try one out. The Romeo is good, but there’s better options out there. However, for the price you can’t beat it.
I wholeheartedly agree! I managed to get a great deal on guns.com and it is a very sweet gun! I’m very happy with it so far. I got the xl with the Romeo on it as well.
@@brandonstroud5148 I think he was referring to is you have to take off your optic to change a battery on Romeo zero & Holosun has a side tray. Not to mention it's all aluminum with a Glass lens, tactile click adjustments & just an all-around better optic. You can get a 407k for $200, I did👍.

I have been doing a lot of research looking for my first gun. I am leaning towards the XL. I had an opportunity to shoot the Hellcat and XL. I like the feel of the XL over the Hellcat. Just my preference.
I EDC an XL and I plan to for a very long time. I recommend getting the first 500 rounds through it ASAP, then clean it. It gets smoother and smoother especially after the break in.

Ive got an old Browning hi-power. Conceals in my velcro lined vest inside the lining in its hidden holster, but YOU KNOW ITS IN THERE. Feels like it weighs a ton. So I went looking for a more suitable firearm for the job. The 365XL fits the same holster with a Lima laser and I CANT FEEL IT IN THERE. Perfect gun for concealed carry. No complaints.
I opted for the XL without the RomeoZero ($599 Bass Pro Shop). My astigmatism made the Romeo red dot look like a starburst/comet. I opted for the Holosun 507K X2 circle dot which minimizes the distortion. But I actually prefer the XRay3 day/night sights that came with it. It shoots well with different grains and quality of ammo. The proprietary rail isn’t an issue to me. There are after market picatinny rail adapters if you don’t like what Sig offers. Another thing, if you buy the X or Xl with the RomeoZero installed, you won’t get the rear XRay3 sight included (per other posters). Something you should consider if you don’t like the Romeo red dot. You’ll have to buy a rear sight, and optic cover plate.

I went to the store and filled out the required background check information on their iPad. I waited another 30 minutes and left with my purchase. I do have a concealed carry license so I didn’t have to wait the customary 3-5 days to pick it up. If you’re a veteran you get 5% off

I bought my new XL a few months ago. I've only been able to get to the range once since then, but I put 100 rounds of Fiocchi 115 grain fmj through it from 5 different 10 rd mags. I did not clean it before taking it to the range. Rounds 2, 3, and 4 failed to feed. The next 96 rounds fed flawlessly. So far, I'm very happy with my purchase!
I've owned 3 sticky holsters for 3 separate guns. Every one the front sight post dug a hole in the holster, which made drawing in an emergency impossible. I will never use, nor recommend them again. Great review of the XL though...mine is my favorite carry pistol by far.
I love my XL, it's my EDCCW. I only wish that I had bought it without the optic or had gotten the X instead. The Holosun 507K is far and away a much better optic than the R0.

I have it with Holosun 507C and I am completely happy! With my problems with eyes I cannot use classic sights and with the Holosun I do not have any problems!
A excellent video on the Sig Sauer P 365 XL you need no more than 4 to 6 guns today just to much money 🤑 also when you trade or sell them you don't get much money 😢
Love xl. Seems to point on target microsecond faster than x. Due to length. But i do want to get a x someday. Xl is like a slim 1911 with a grip that fits strongly for smaller hands.
In order to really make the claim that the barrel is longer, you need to look at or purchase the Sig Sauer P365 XL Spector "Custom Works" model. There is a significant difference in the price and barrel length. The Sig Sauer XL you are talking about in this video is about 600.00 and the barrel is a bit more than the 3,1". That being said-if someone really wanted an upgrade-The "Custom Works" has the barrel difference. I bought the Specter Custom Works" & got luck (That is if you want the gold barrel & Trigger) for1,100.00 out the door. There is a "Specter Custom Works" that is called "Battlefield" which is all black and costs about 1,000 -1,100.00 dollars. These have a barrel of about 3.6". Sure it is 1/2 inch and these guns run smoother. The Custom Works, also have "Lightning cuts". They are not compensators like the Sig Macro claims to have and are still only about 3.1" barrel. You need to spend the extra money on a custon works to notice a big difference. If someone can afford it. I would. Totally great out of the box. Oh Sig even gives you a totally worthless coin to go with it.

Was Just at a gun show trying to decide between the 365x and 365xl. Ended with the 365xl. I was looking for a EDC that would be pretty comfortable. I figured that difference in length wouldn’t be a big deal
I find that concealment express makes extremely good holsters for the price. Ha ing carried the p250 and p320 comfortably I would choose over a sticky holster. Never felt it retention was good. I would personally not want to carry it pocket . I enjoy your video s and have considered the 365xl as an option if I were to change from my compact guns.
Black arch duel clip protos m holster. You will not find a better holster on the market. I have been using it for years with multiple pistols. Since I have found them it has been my go-to inside the waistband. Works in the summertime and the winter. It is comfortable with something like a Glock 19 and if you get one for the p365x or xl you won't even know they are there. They are a bit pricey at around a hundred bucks but they are durable and comfortable and most important safe. The trigger guard is covered by Kydex on both sides. It truly is an Incredible holster. Especially if you want to carry a bigger pistol
Absolutely correct on the hoster choice. I carry in the waist line but with an Uncle Mike's #4. Comfortable and adjustable. Draws easily and stays secure . Good call.
love the pistol, however a recent bad experience really disappointed me. used as a edc and the rose/gold coated areas all show corrosion and sig sauer will not cover it under warranty! very disappointing

They broke the mold with the 365. Then they made it better with this 365 x and now with the xl it is almost perfect. Sig hit a homerun with this line. The p320 aswell
I've had nightmares about dropping/fumbling pistol draw under stress. My P365 with 12 rd mag only pistol Ive ever owned that I consistantly achieve the same master grip every draw, so far.
I have one that had optics on it. I am old school. I'm going to break down and buy a flat top and the rear sight. too much money total. It was the only one available at that time and I'm impatient.
The p365 is designed to be as small as possible while still being practical it's a micro pistol if the market was looking for a XL version they would have made it first the p365 changed the game forever not keltec but Sig and everybody followed suit for a reason the p365 is made for people who wants the smallest gun with high capacity not a target gun.
The P365 is modular and Sig sells the XL frames on their website. You can drop the FCU from the original P365 into the XL frame and you have the extra room for big hands that will give you a better grip on the pistol which means better control. The XL grip handle is less than an inch longer, so it's still very concealable.

@@TaniaAmthor Well The real only difference between the 365X and the 365XL is the length of the barrel. But that being said I carry the 365X the most because it is pocket-able. They shoot about the same. Don't confuse the 365X with the 365 they are two totally different guns. I converted my 365 to a 365X.
@@TaniaAmthor Because of the extended beaver tail on the 365X (the 365 does not have) I see little noticeable difference between it and the 365XL. But because of that, the felt recoil on the 365 is much more noticeable. That extended beaver tail makes a difference in felt recoil. I am 75 years old so felt recoil to me is important.

Does anyone else having problems with the 15rd magazine? Mine loads normal at first, then it allows the first rounds to lose tension. And of course it rattles bad too
Yes. Sticky has recently introduced their OR (optics ready) holsters which have the cut-out you need. You will want the OR-3 for the P365XL with optic. Have a great day!
This past Saturday, I purchased my Sig P365XL ROMEOZERO from Exile Armory in Weaver , Al. Paid $595 with the ROMEOZERO factory installed and sighted in also by the factory. When I got home, I ordered the Crossbreed Super Tuck IWB holster with the cut for the ROMEOZERO sight. The salesperson told me that Sig is closing out all production of the P365XL. This is unfortunate 💔
Personally, I can't really compare the two fairly because the P239 is a hammer fired, single stack all metal gun and the P365XL is a striker fired, polymer with slight offset of rounds in the magazine. They are much more different then they are alike. Having said that, if I could only have one it would be the P239 because it's ideal for me and I trust it. Lucky for me, I don't have to choose just one. Cheers!

They both are pretty close to me. The RDP does not shoot as well without the compensator, which makes it a bit longer. I think the P365XL makes more sense.
I don't know if it's safe to holster the gun inside my pants w/ a round in the chamber using that soft case holster by Sticky. I think something could possible press against the trigger and set the gun off...
They are not for everyone, that's for sure. I have used them on a variety of firearms over the years and have never had a problem. If you need retention, I would use something else for sure.
The only code I have seen is the First Responder/Military code on their website. We don't have a code because they do not sponsor the channel. Some of their holsters are featured because they work well for specific applications.
There's one in my safe... It's there because it's not a good carry gun... And the trigger is about as crisp as mashed potatoes. I regret buying it, and hope to trade it off for something soon...
Few points. The curve creates a less consistent trigger pull. If your finger is slightly higher or lower on the trigger, not only are you changing the leverage but you are also changing the angle of the force applied to the trigger based on the curve. A flat trigger removes a variable by being a constant angle. Second, a flat trigger lets you pull near the bottom tip of the trigger, which maximizes your leverage and giving a lower trigger pull weight for the same trigger. Curved triggers are a holdover from double action revolvers and pistols where you needed the curve to keep your finger from slipping during a long heavy trigger pull. I’m a USPSA competition shooter, I won’t run anything but flat triggers. They’re just more consistent in finger placement and trigger press.
@@Catgat37 Everything is personal preference. But there are definable mechanical advantages to a flat faced trigger. What you shoot best will be what you’ve spent the time training on.

XL is a great pistol. I have been impressed so far.
I have all kinds of pistols and I carry the 365XL all day every day. All the other pistols get to stay in the Safe.

One mans XL is another mans micro. I’m 6”9 this gun is the same size as a shield. If your looking for deep concealment buy a micro.

I have 2 P365XLs and a P365X They all 3 have Holosun 507K V1 and 407K V1 and I love them and the way they shoot. What is the name of the leather holster?

@@TaniaAmthor Well The real only difference between the 365X and the 365XL is the length of the barrel. But that being said I carry the 365X the most because it is pocket-able. They shoot about the same. Don't confuse the 365X with the 365 they are two totally different guns. I converted my 365 to a 365X.

Do you notice a difference in the recoil?
@@TaniaAmthor Because of the extended beaver tail on the 365X (the 365 does not have) I see little noticeable difference between it and the 365XL. But because of that, the felt recoil on the 365 is much more noticeable. That extended beaver tail makes a difference in felt recoil. I am 75 years old so felt recoil to me is important.

Does anyone else having problems with the 15rd magazine? Mine loads normal at first, then it allows the first rounds to lose tension. And of course it rattles bad too

just picked up a P365X online, thx to my disappointment with Hellcat inaccuracy. hope it's not as bad as Cat.
My Hellcat RDP performed better than the standard Hellcat. My P365X has been perfect.

Yes. Sticky has recently introduced their OR (optics ready) holsters which have the cut-out you need. You will want the OR-3 for the P365XL with optic. Have a great day!

About all its worth i sold mine after a month
This past Saturday, I purchased my Sig P365XL ROMEOZERO from Exile Armory in Weaver , Al. Paid $595 with the ROMEOZERO factory installed and sighted in also by the factory.
When I got home, I ordered the Crossbreed Super Tuck IWB holster with the cut for the ROMEOZERO sight.
The salesperson told me that Sig is closing out all production of the P365XL.
This is unfortunate 💔
So how does this stack up against the P239?
Personally, I can't really compare the two fairly because the P239 is a hammer fired, single stack all metal gun and the P365XL is a striker fired, polymer with slight offset of rounds in the magazine. They are much more different then they are alike. Having said that, if I could only have one it would be the P239 because it's ideal for me and I trust it. Lucky for me, I don't have to choose just one. Cheers!
Thanks. 239 for me too. I shoot it as well as my m11-a1 and nearly as well as my 226. I will give the XL a run when I can,but I doubt it will replace my trusty 239.👍

They both are pretty close to me. The RDP does not shoot as well without the compensator, which makes it a bit longer. I think the P365XL makes more sense.

I don't know if it's safe to holster the gun inside my pants w/ a round in the chamber using that soft case holster by Sticky. I think something could possible press against the trigger and set the gun off...
They are not for everyone, that's for sure. I have used them on a variety of firearms over the years and have never had a problem. If you need retention, I would use something else for sure.

There's one in my safe... It's there because it's not a good carry gun... And the trigger is about as crisp as mashed potatoes. I regret buying it, and hope to trade it off for something soon...

Why are all the manufacturers taking the curve out of the triggers ??? Looks awful and doesn't seem practical and definitely not ergonomic !

Actually is a very nice trigger
Few points. The curve creates a less consistent trigger pull. If your finger is slightly higher or lower on the trigger, not only are you changing the leverage but you are also changing the angle of the force applied to the trigger based on the curve. A flat trigger removes a variable by being a constant angle. Second, a flat trigger lets you pull near the bottom tip of the trigger, which maximizes your leverage and giving a lower trigger pull weight for the same trigger. Curved triggers are a holdover from double action revolvers and pistols where you needed the curve to keep your finger from slipping during a long heavy trigger pull. I’m a USPSA competition shooter, I won’t run anything but flat triggers. They’re just more consistent in finger placement and trigger press.
@@sethrich5998 I believe it all comes down to the shooter. Some people are perfectly fine with a stock Glock trigger.
@@Catgat37 Everything is personal preference. But there are definable mechanical advantages to a flat faced trigger. What you shoot best will be what you’ve spent the time training on.
