Correct. Professional players, particularly the big names, sign lifetime (or very lengthy) contracts with the brands. Adidas/Nike/Puma send the player whichever boots they feel would benefit them the most, and so the player wears them. Most pros could care less about their boots, hence the reason why pros sign big €€€ contracts. The X 19+ is objectively a good boot, but as Jay Mike and most other boot reviewers state, the X 19.1 is much better in terms of lockdown and touch, and many other variables. This of course goes without mentioning that the X 19.1 is €50 cheaper. So yes, the X 19+ is a good boot, but the X 19.1 is much better. It comes down to money and marketing. (sigh 😂).
