Those bags look great on your bike. Well done install video. You’re good at making videos. I hope you post more frequently. I enjoy everyday bike rides, biking events, local small trips, long distance rides, bike modifications. Idk just some ideas. Cheers. Good luck with your channel. 🍺🍺☮️

I love watching your videos but no thank you very much on the Viking bags. Yeah, they do look nice - BUT if I'm buying bags from a reputable manufacturer, I want them delivered to me, ready to bolt onto my specific motorcycle. And I'm willing to pay more for that if Viking could be bothered to do it. I'm not the least bit interested in cutting/drilling to fit.

I have the same bike, but my fender is the short version and I can’t find a set of bags that will fit. Love your set up!

It’s the Canadian version of the scout 60, but ours have the short fender and the rear lights are further forward so hard to find bags for it.

@@susangloade2912 I’ll ask Viking to see if they have something that will work.

Does anyone know if the Viking bags can carry as much as the Indian bags made for the scout. I like the lines on the Indian bag, but I like the Vikings for the locking ability.

The Indian bags are definitely smaller.

Do yourself a big favor I am speaking from experience I used own a set. The bags are good quality I had no issues with them the major problem is the bolts that the use. Go to a local hardware store and replace every one of them with a higher quality bolt and nut. I am not the only one to experience this issue Viking knows its an issue. I installed Viking bags on both my wife's and my bikes. I used Viking hardware on mine and replaced all of hers because they were a little short. On the way home from Sturgis at one stop I noticed my one bag was not sitting right. I looked and one of the bolts was slightly bend (The only thing in the bag was my jacket liner and seat backrest (maybe 5lbs) which I removed. A day later a people are honking at us so I pulled over to see why . My saddlebag with just my jacket liner had fallen off and was dragging on the ground between the bikes destroying the bag and my jacket liner . The bolts had snapped and the other one which was empty the front bolt snapped. My wife's bags were stuffed full and not a single issue with bolts. Viking did replace the bags but I refused to use the supplied bolts I replaced them. We never had issues again. Replace the nuts and bolts

Thanks for watching, they were aware of the hardware problems and sent me a kit with longer bolts. I’m sorry you had the issue, that’s terrible. I forgot to mention I used locktite on the bolts. I appreciate you bringing up this issue because it’s important for others who might have the same short bolt problem.

@@eileen-on-wheels yes they were aware of the problem back then it as nothing to do with the length of the bolts, it as nothing to do with using loctite. The bolts are crap metal and will bend and break.
