    Just liked and subscribed, I have the white blanks with the many different shapes the tassels etc. Going to do them right away. I would like to add a keychain as a gift tag this Christmas it will have their first name on it. I am designing it in Cricut Design Space and just made a rectangle for the rectangle blanks and sliced out a name on a few different rectangles and will put a bunch of different infusible ink sheets on my mat and cut them out. If I can I will show pic when they are done, not sure if I can do that or not. LOL. Thanks, I think I knew "most" of what you talked about but not the heat and time, which is really what I needed to know and the bonus was the assembly with the parts. Thanks SO MUCH. Oh! and I was paused the video to listen for my cat . . . . LOL!

    Thank you !! This video helped a lot. Being new to this it was very informative. New subscriber now. Just a quick question please, is there a way to get a design on a clear acrylic keychain? I have a design like a smokey looking colorful butterfly that I wanted to use on a keychain. Would it be that I would have to go the sublimation route? Thanks

    • @AmyRomeu
      @AmyRomeu  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi, thanks for watching and commenting! If the design isn't something with clear lines that can be cut from vinyl, yes, sublimation would be a good way to go!

    • @AmyRomeu
      @AmyRomeu  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Kay! For sublimation ink to transfer fully with vibrant colors, it needs to be close to 400 degrees for 60 seconds as a general rule. :)

    @ChristianMusic852 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Hi Amy ! I'm loving your videos ! But I have a question can you do this on clear acrylic keychains and for what time and how many seconds. I have the 2 in in diameter clear acrylic keychains.

    • @AmyRomeu
      @AmyRomeu  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Vonda! You can do this on clear keychains. All infusible ink needs a temp of 400 degrees and 60 seconds is the recommended time. Remember the acrylic piece will be super hot so let it rest for a few minutes before trying to remove the paper! I hope that helps.

  • @eelkennaid226

    Can you do the name on another infusible ink instead of vinyl?

    • @AmyRomeu
      @AmyRomeu  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Dianne, Yes, you certainly could. You can layer infusible ink on top of itself. I would recommend a light color on the bottom and making the text a darker color so you get some contrast. Press each layer separately, too. First the bottom, then the text. Let me know if you try this. I'd love to hear how it goes.

      Hi, Monique! All the links are in the video description. You may have to expand the section to see the description.

  • @proskurniak1
    @proskurniak1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    So I tried it and it was a FAIL, yikes. absolutely nothing transferred onto the keychain blank, I have the ones that have a bunch of different shapes and came with tassels, etc. Not the ones you have that look like stitching on the edge. So I had to go back to my Amazon orders and make sure it said sublimation in the description and it did. So I was stumped. Then I noticed under the item description a section called About this Item and it said the following: "【Warmly Note】 Before using the Round Blanks, please tear off a protective cover on both sides of every single one of them and you will get a perfect blanks. Moreover, Put the board (keychain blank) on the machine (press) to preheat for about three minutes, then print the image at a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius (356 Fahrenheit) for 40 seconds, you will get a nice project, also you can print on 2 sides, because of its double-sided Sublimation Blanks."

    • @proskurniak1
      @proskurniak1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So then since the one side was also bubbled and wrecked AND no ink transferring I warmed the blank up (other side) like it says above and then took a piece of the weeding garbage and stuck it on the blank and followed the directions above and it worked. So now I'm wondering how to tape the design to a hot blank. I can't believe how well yours worked and mine did not as it sure "looks" like the same blank. And I mean I had nothing on them at all for the first tryout - I thought for a secondt I put the ink sheet upside down it was still SO white, no shadow or anything, if it hadn't bubbled from the 400F I think I would've been able to use it to try again. Anyone else have this problem? Well not a problem now except for trying to tape something on a very hot blank. I hadn't ever tried this so I expected some hiccups with a new craft. So good experiment today anyway and I just love doing these now I know I can get it to transfer. I'm going to go watch the video again - maybe I missed where you warmed up the blanks.

    • @AmyRomeu
      @AmyRomeu  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, Patricia! I have never warmed up sublimation blanks, so you didn't miss me doing that in the video. The step of removing the protective layer is very important. Keep trying and you'll get it!
