Hi, Maria! I used Canva, a free app, to resize the photos smaller. I printed the photos at my local photo printer (Walgreens where I live). I have a print out template on my blog that you can print out and use to cut the photos to the right size. Hi, Martilee! I use Art Glitter Glue a lot, but I'm excited to test some Bearly Art glue and some Beacon Fabric Tac this week. The best glues are able to spread a thin, even amount. The key I've found to getting faux leather to stick well is pressing the glued pieces under something heavy for a few hours, overnight is best. That produces the flattest, firmest bond.
Sorry for the second comment but, I have laminating sheets and a machine, would this be ok to use for the photo instead of acetate? I do have the acetate too though. Which is better?
I have another question I have some cowhide letter can I used that with this project and would I used the rotary blade or deep cut or fine point blade Thanks in advance for helping me
Hi, thanks for your comment. I would suggest trying the knife blade on the Maker, or the deep cut blade on the Maker or the Explore Air 2. You can place transfer tape sticky side up on your purple mat first to protect your mat, then the cowhide fur side down, and tape all over. You'll want to use "more" pressure and repeat the cut a few times until it cuts all the way through. Let me know if you try it and how it goes! :)

Hi, thanks for your question. Not that I know of, but you could print a photo onto printable vinyl and then press that onto faux leather. :) I hope that helps!

Something I use to hold glue projects is cloth pins for small things or chip bag clips.

If you wanted to do that, I think it would only work on the square version. You'd have to leave one side or the bottom unglued. :)
