  • A Hot Aintree Sprint run brilliantly by Liverpool Motor Club with lots of runs.
These are a couple that also show some track side video from Henry Holdcroft- you can see his A35 racing at the end of the video
    enjoy.

Terrific machine! A real joy to see and hear it out on the track, hope to see it again in September.

Firstly, congratulations, mate! Awesome stuff! That little car of yours has sure got some legs - and enough squirt in reserve to keep pushing even in OD, hasn't it! Man, I love the sound of that thing at full chat....and she looks so composed and so well planted at the ton that it is hard to believe the beast is 64 years old! Don't you DARE retire her on her 66th even i! she IS eligible!
A treat to see the Flying A (almost literally!) giving it the berries and all. My family always had an A30 or A35 (sometimes both at the same time) when I was growing up and I've also owned both - a 2-door A30 being my first car in fact.
Short video, but packed with some great footage. Thoroughly enjoyable - I've watched it twice already!

Thanks Lance. You are alway so generous and encouraging with your comments, it is very much appreciated. Hopefully not such a long wait for the next one.

@@HamishRacing - You are very welcome, matey. Just note I would not say it if my perceptions were different - I don't do politics. Ever. Also, if my encouragement helps keep up your level of enthusiasm for filming your outings, then it's a win-win, eh? LOL!
Seriously, she's a lovely little car and a credit to your obvious care, attention, knowledge and fettling. You are obviously no novice on the track either and know the beast well enough to ask what you do of her.....and I reckon she's got more to give and would favour tracks with medium-long straights and a mix of tight and sweeping corners that allow you to keep her momentum up. I reckon she'd show her full colour chart on the likes of Donington or Goodwood.....and would be an absolute ball of fun on either.
Don't worry about time gaps between videos, mate. It's just an absolute treat to see them when they pop up and I'm happy to wait for them!

Congrats man! I dream that one day my little left hand drive American TR3a will be half as fast and awesome as yours. 🍻

@@HamishRacingquestion for you sir. What kind of steering conversion did you do? It's an upgrade that's been on my mind for a while. And I love that you found a way to make the old horn button and signal switch work on a racing wheel! A lot of people told me that couldn't be done. Besides having more responsive steering I definitely need to put in a smaller wheel because I have short legs and the original rubs on my belly when I drive😂

      Hi
It’s not much of a conversion to be honest it’s a 15”moto lita steering wheel on a standard 2 section steering column on the standard steering box. It does have bronze bushed steering links.

Oh wow gotcha! That thing must be a beast to maneuver while going slow around the garage or what have you

Err. Yes it is. 🤣🤣Especially with my 185/55x15 sticky race tyres. Trick is to only try and turn the wheel when moving.
