    Rich, I got my Hog yesterday and your tip about the servo tester really paid off! When I connected the gear servo, the left wing landing gear did not deploy… I have returned the plane for a replacement from Amazon, and needless to say you saved me a lot of grief by not gluing on the tail before the servo test. A big Mahalo! AP

    Rich, I really enjoy your build videos. They very helpful and in-depth, with great tips and tricks. The custom mods are cool. I watched the BlitzWorks SU-50 TV build. I'm always thinking about how to make a aircraft better than it is. Some need little, some need a lot. It's great to see others who do the same. Of the three A-10's in this size, it's the nicest and most costly. I like it! I never thought I'd see a 6S 64mm A-10. AirHammer out!!

    Rich, I need some help rebuilding my nose gear retract on my A10. Any chance you can post a couple of close up photos of the steering mechanism attached to the servo? I’m basically installing a new steering servo on the nose retract but may have lost the steering arm? I need to see what that linkage from the servo to the nose gear looks like. Mahalo!

  • @aaronchase38

    I noticed just a screw into the control tabs on the tail ?
    Love the A10 👍🤙🇺🇸🇺🇸
    Little worried about tail maintenance bc everything is glued 😳..a servo issue, and there's 4, could be a headache. .

    • @RCINFORMER
      @RCINFORMER  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It should not be an issue. The rudder wires are easy to remove & it would be easy to cut a slot in the underside of the tail to assess the tail servo wires to change any of the tail servos.

      @@robertramos2198 I'm not sure what you're asking? All the rods were included and already installed on this model:) Does this answer your question? The rods were so well done on this model, they were all the correct length and I did not even need to turn a single ball link to change a rod length adjustment:)

    Why you don’t show how to program the A10 thunderbolt. How do you program the Dua Rate. Flaps servos. What you show every body showi on TH-cam. I can’t find any friking video on how to program my A-10 thunderbolt using my DX6. I am new on this hobby.

    Is this plane for beginners? Because its really cool and Dome people say its easy to fly with.

    • @RCINFORMER
      @RCINFORMER  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are an absolute beginner i would say no but if you have some experience with Edf jets then it might make a good second jet because it is stable it’s just the speeds it is capable of that may catch out someone who is a beginner. Thanks for your comment🙂

  • @shanethepain2009
    @shanethepain2009 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    did you feel the plane needed more mechanical elevator travel than was supplied from the factory setting . i only fly ww2 fighters and like more for test flights i will not be using A3SX

    • @RCINFORMER
      @RCINFORMER  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I normally change my control links anyway because I like to use the full resolution of the servo rather than just a small section of it. Likewise I don’t tend to use stabilisation as a general rule either but I will from time to time turn it on if there’s quite a bit of wind or to show you guys in a video how effective it is etc.

  • @davidgerlach1132
    @davidgerlach1132 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    A question. When you are gluing the rudder sections, I'm guessing that you have confidence in the servo that you're not going to need to rip into the elevator when it fails? You've completely covered up all the rudder wiring with foam glue. We know that servos fail all the time.

    • @RCINFORMER
      @RCINFORMER  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are correct. I'm not real excited how they designed this part, however that's the way it was designed. So definitely test the servo BEFORE gluing everything in place.

    • @davidgerlach1132
      @davidgerlach1132 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RCINFORMER Rich, I'd love this bird no doubt. But it's a little $$$. $650 (A-10) + $300 (Lipo's) + a $200 receiver. Or, this EF A-10 w/Spektrum AR637TA receiver with full-range telemetry and industry-leading DSMX/AS3X for $430 + $300 (Lipo's). Also, 1500mm(1.5m) isn't going to be agile as the 1149mm. 1.2-1.4m is my comfort size with RC plane.
