When you see him sweep past other riders it is because the other guys are not sprinters or they are sprinters who timed their push for the line wrong and then start to die just as Cav flies past.. He is also the GOAT so that helps!

Based on what I read, he has a very great acceleration. He knows how to switch to the right gears for acceleration
