Aella Lee she also did a 2 season sitcom on Amazon and it was about her Mom and how all that went down. All of the actors were awesome, especially her Step Dad. She wrote it so ask you can imagine it was dark and warped! LOL I love her dry wit. BUT, by far, her stand up (the info is in this video description), was the funniest I've seen of her yet.
Aella Lee the problem is common masses dont have a dark humour and when its on a plat form people understand the perspective more bc they r open 2 any kind of humour...even i get a bit dissapointed when my dark humour is treated with silence or worse awkwardness😂

Wow, that was a while ago. She’s great on discovery. I really like the scene where the crew find her on a ship which is a bit of a disaster. She’s an engineer who can keep people’s brains going and she re-engineers so many things just to keep going, with the Tig Bob, where she’s just so relaxed and fine to rewire this and that to keep people alive. Excellent show.
I was so happy to see her on Discovery - she's the perfect person for that character!

She's _almost_ in an a passable Stargate outfit! So yes, it seems appropriate to be taking orders from this woman on alien worlds. Discovery really likes gay Chief Engineers apparently (not sure about her character but this woman's apparently married to another woman real life), which seems to've turned out pretty damn well so far! As a lesbian nerd, I can confirm this... straight people just, well, kinda suck at technical things. They simply don't have the right kind of brain for it, the poor dears.
