Loved the video! As a girl who grew up in the 90's/2000's and having 'heroin chic' shoved down our throats as the ideal body type, amazing to see more women speaking opening about wanting to be stronger and focusing on what your body can do, rather than the aesthetic.
Aimee is an inspiration but just keep in mind what is achievable naturally. A lot of athletes will do anything it takes to be the best, that's not the same thing as being the healthiest.
I have to disagree with what you're saying. We don't know what is or isn't achievable 'naturally' as we have never done this before therefor who are we to deem what can or can't be achieved.
Society often criticizes women's body transformations in sports due to entrenched gender norms and stereotypes that dictate how women's bodies should look. Total bull$h1t to me honestly.
Thank you Han🫶🏼 this was lovely to watch !! xx
No, thank you! You’re really inspiring 💕
You're both brilliant!
@@w0033944 thank you ❤️
My first time doing this type of video and I loved learning more about Aimee and the CrossFit space. What do you guys thinks?? 👀👀

Thank you so much for your comment! 💕
I love what you said about honouring your body!
Thank you! I mean it 💕
You will be at that level soon with the way you are training
Ahh imagine 👀

Is Aimee natural? Is that what you are questioning?
@@HanLifts I think the female natty limit at the elite level is higher than people think.
@@w0033944 I believe that women are able to achieve much more than what people seem to think (without the use of PEDs)

That is exactly it. Whilst I appreciate it takes time to dismantle these norms I think more can be done to speed up the process. Glad you agree!
