The reason you kept getting free balls is because you typed in Bmax at full screen so that no matter how you lost a ball it'd give you another. Anyone can rack up scores that way you cheater.
When I tried that trick, the code bmax, the unlimited balls always comes from the yellow space tunnel every time you lose a ball. I used the code hidden test just to see all the missions of the game, especially voragine, but to get an high score, no codes can be used. I most of the time I rather no use any code just to get a valid high score, even if is so annoying when I do my best to not lose the ball, and the ball easily goes to anywhere, bah.
No need to cheat, I know this because I used to play this game more than 10 years ago. The trick is you have to keep hitting the ball into the top-right corner, the reward is really really good, it gives barrier protection, extra balls, and very high points. Good luck.

The secret with this game is not to play for points but to play for lives and to predict how the ball is going to bounce. Nudge has to be used and used wisely to disrupt the normal flow of the game.
My record is like +9 000 000... I always aim at the extra ball at the top right (but I don't really understand how you earn that extra ball... ) . When the ball comes out I rarely send her back like 2/3 sometimes lol. By the way, you know how the 2 launchers at the bottom left and right unlock ? They closed once you use them but sometimes I find them unlocked.
