The Satisfactory Tools is amazing! Very simple to use. Just need a few clicks to select the item i want to produce, the number of resources on the input tab and it give the exact number of machines you will need. It even choose the best recipe for max output. No more math for me. Great work showing all this resources.
Holy shit I just found this video. Thanks so much for great words about my tools (and other tools out there as well)! I'm currently super busy with life and work, but I've been planning to do a large update to my tools for a while now and even started working on it. Eventually it'll be able to calculate with power and sink points as well, I'm also planning to fix the few bugs that are there (sometimes if you combine a lot of features together, it'll just show weird result).
Interactive map is great but first timers might want to avoid using it to find stuff until they've had a decent amount of time simply exploring the map for themselves. Maps tend to encourage less wandering and more point to point navigation.
@@MaxTheCatfish when you enter what you have the tool still calculates that resources. am I doing something wrong? Also the map editing feature was awesome didnt know that and trying to build by hand.
Does the website "satisfactory tools" give me the most energy-efficient or the most material-efficient solution? Can I choose it? How? Thanks for this great video! I liked it very much!
I was really excited when I found Greeny's Production Calculator. I tend to plan factories around how many resources I HAVE, rather than how many products I want to produce. And graphically it's displayed really nicely! I'm a fan!
0:45 The best mechanic in that kind of game is simple and normal logic. If the output is too slow increase input and machine speed or build a parallel production path ... that for I dont need a wiki ...
That was very helpful! Thanks. I used the satosfactory-calculator tool ....didnt work....I guess I got to go back and try again and follow your description.
Mods can be made compatible with the Satisfactory-Calculator Interactive Map, but they need to supply some specific information in order to be accessible in the tool. Not all mods will be compatible but I hear many are! satisfactory-calculator.com/en/mods
*most* mod's building will be shown as an "unknown" building. the website will still be able to gather a few information, like the position/rotation and the *size*, maybe the content but I'm not sure about that.
I can't find my save file for my game. I have the Steam version of Satisfactory. I don't know where my actual save file is so I can upload it to the calculator. Any help would be great!
Save games are stored here: %LOCALAPPDATA%\FactoryGame\Saved\SaveGames if you put that path into windows explorer (file browser thingy on windows) you'll get your saves
Thanks for the heads up! Looks like the HTTPS version of satisfactorywiki.com no longer redirects to the official wiki page! I've updated the link in the description with the longer, uglier url. 😁
I think that might be a topic for another video! I personally haven't experienced many issues with the game but I'm playing from my gaming PC. The biggest tip I've got for that - besides making sure your graphical settings and view distance are set low - is to reduce the number of objects you've created in the game! Refrain from using window walls or glass floors. Try to limit the number of "excess" foundations/walls you create too. You can install the Area Actions Mod to mass-delete objects that you aren't using anymore. This might help improve performance.

Excellent video! I appreciated your explanation of the greeny tools feature where you are already producing a particular product!
That feature sold me on that tool. It's a freaking awesome addition that makes it even more useful! Glad the video was helpful!

If I use a mod that adds a new building, what would happen with the Calculator's map? Does it still work and just display those buildings as an error?

That launcher from the video is already outdated :)
All that and nothing on improving the performance of the game itself (not factories) for those with a potato computer.

How do you use that satysfactory Tools? You just show a "cool" tool players can use and assume everyone knows how to use it.
Im not ghey.
