Never discontinue this plane. A lot of senior living places have a big enough indoor recreation room that you can fly this in and I’m still gonna want one when I get to that point....if I get to that point.

So glad you've revisited the Vapor! That was some really skilled flying, but there is no doubt that this is king of the indoor flyers.
I have the original vapor. First one you guys made many years ago. Has to be 10+ years ago now. Maybe 15?
Can't beat this at $99. I used to fly it in decent winds and just stay low. You can use the down wind at 0 throttle and only bump it to come back. Great plane to learn your harriers without breaking the bank. Little scotch tape fixed any problems. 😉
I loved mine but kept breaking motor mounts. Probably my flying but I have purchased this.

Nice to see a new addition to the Vapor series. I still have an original Vapor. I've gotten mine down to 12 grams with battery. Slowest thing I've ever seen in flight.

I had the old park zone vapor. That’s when it wasn’t even the night vapor. It was just the vapor with no lights. I loved it though. Let it sit for a year and either the electronics or battery went bad.
@@Yyyyyy5 Eh, probably just needs a new battery. Lithium batteries don't generally like to be stored for long periods of time without being partially charged
The programable colors is awesome to have. We will have a few of them in the air at the same time

Nice touches to an awesome plane! I would like to see an updated Mini Vapor. I still have a couple Mini Vapors that I still fly, the minis can easily be flown inside my house. My most recent one being the Vapor Lite HP. All very enjoyable planes.
The video test I was looking for 👍 Next year will be the first one on my list thanks and by the way I owned and fly the old Vapor this it is really smooth for sure great job guys 👍😄

I have the Parkzone version of this plane. It is great for rainy days living room sessions. So relaxing 👍
I had the original Night Vapor close to 10 years ago and loved it! The thing could turn on a dime and was basically a kite with a motor. I could fly it in places I wouldn't even consider flying other planes, like in my backyard, and my living room. I upgraded it with a Parkzone UM J-3 motor (fits right in the Night Vapor's motor mount but more powerful than the stock motor. It was super quiet too, you could barely even hear it if it wasn't within 15 or 20 feet of you. Only downside was that the landing gear wasn't very durable. You land that thing too hard, the gear would snap right off. Flew just fine without the gear though, and I got really good at flying it towards me, chopping the throttle, and letting it fall right into my hand when I was done flying. My favorite memory of this plane is flying it in my backyard at night, and watching bats fly up to it to check it out. Haven't had much time to fly lately but I might pick one of these new ones up

Some excellent lying as always Jason this would be the primary reason why I would get it it's just too messed around with the indoor stuff if I can get a large enough area to play in. But of course I would feel comfortable leaving just trying to have it in the house.
How does bank angle AS3x work with an airplane without ailerons and only rudder
Someone knows how to setup the telemetry so the transmitter can voice the battery level?
My Brother just bought one of these and the motor will not start at all. Everything else works but no power. Any ideas, tried to contact HorizonHobby but nothing so far. It's a new E-Flite UMX Night Vapor RTF. help.
I thought I would be able to put a 300 mha whoop battery on it and it just got really hot and the motor started spinning uncontrollably when I unplugged it and tried the regular battery the motor started but I got no control on the steering or the other one any help would be nice

It flies much slower in real life. The rtf version has a pre-programmed radio with all the correct settings, despite having no screen. The feel of the radio is 99% as much control as the most expensive radios with special gimbals on the sticks and one million settings to adjust in the screen.
Can you set the nav lights to solid, so the red and green stay on?
Been flying large gas planes for a number of years now but there is something about this little guy, I gotta have one!!!
Loved my night vapor, sadly it got stolen along with my DX9 first gen :(. I was so heartbroken I stopped flying until this day and all my planes are dusty :(.

1:33 if you yank before you bank you might have a problem 🤣 plus this a 3 channel, there's no banking going on my man.
Except that it most definitely does bank when rudder is applied due to the dihedral. 3-channel airplanes don't really work without enough dihedral to bank with rudder input ;)
@@HorizonHobbyProducts I just bought one this afternoon, it's cool to just putz it around. I wish the rtr transmitter would let you put the rudder on the left stick.
@@kendesign3622 It's been industry standard for about 50+ years to put rudder on the right hand/"aileron" stick when you have a 3-channel model without ailerons. As noted before, the rudder "banks" the Night Vapor in place of the ailerons...and essentially the rudder "acts" like ailerons due to the dihedral which is why it's controlled by the "aileron" stick :)
@@HorizonHobbyProducts I completely understand how a mode 2 3 channel radio is configured. However I've been using my left stick for yaw control for over 40 years. And you're idea of bank and yank is a lot different than mine.
@@kendesign3622 You can bind it to a Spektrum computer transmitter and mix aileron to rudder to use the left-hand stick for roll (not yaw alone in this case) control.
