+SlavjanA The metric units aren't as convenient for height measurements imo. A foot is a measurement more suited for the human size than a meter or centimeter.

I've found a neat trick. Order an extra head rest and place it on the seat as back far as you can. Sit down and position yourself so that it feels comfortable under you and adjust the lumbar height accordingly. Once set up right, it really makes the chair considerably more comfortable than without.

180cm 115kg, but about 54cm wide ass/thighs... All the DXRacer chairs are listed as having an about 14-16 inches wide seat, or ~35-40cm.. Surely that can't be right? Which chair would actually fit me? I was thinking about an Iron or King chair, apart from the width issue...
what chair would you suggest 4 an old guy with 2 discs out of order and whiplash in all directions after alot of car crashes, he is 6,1 feet/186cm. and cant sit straight because then his back locks up and he would need foot support aswell, so what chair would be the best?
I bought the King-series from Playtech couple of month ago. I am 6'1 and over 100kg and all other DXRacer chairs are a bit small for me, the king series just the best of the best!! wide and stable! awesome chair!
They might have renamed the chair with the red sides to "Iron", at least those are the only chairs that look even remotely similar on the website. It's also the one I've been using for almost 3 years: It's pretty comfortable and I'm using it without any of the pillows (they're too thick imo). The only complaint I've got: The material on the actual seat started to crack a couple of months ago and now there are multiple cracks, going from the front to about one third of the way towards the back.
I got a King Series- best chair. I notice when im sitting in my work ute I often readjust myself to get a good straight posture. The lumber support and neck pillow has helped me correct my posture really good. Im 180cm tall and 85kg gives me a bit of room feels like a throne.
quick question, I just got a D series second hand and the tilt function is sooo tight/strong! I've loosened it fully but it's still too tight and unless im already lying back the tilt function is too hard to utilise, any tips on weakening/ further adjustments to the tension to help with this? btw 6ft tall and reasonably built.

I'm 185cm and weigh 70kg. I went for the racing series. I'm happy with it. It's a harder chair than I'm used to but it makes me sit in a better position. Overall I'm happy with it. If I had to say something negative, the headrest seems a little low for me. I don't really use it anyway, so I'll probably just take it off eventually.

I just bought a Max series a week ago and I couldn't be happier. I went to my local store and sat in all of them and knew right away I wanted a max as soon as I sat on it. Nikolaj Larsen The lower back pillow has a strap that goes through the back cusioning of the chair. It connects. Like feel the middle of your chair, there is a slit on both sides and the pillow strap goes through it.
I'm 5'9, but I have big bones aka big thighs and the F-series was a little too tight for me. Someone recommended the K-series. Is that a good suggestion?
Hi-thanks for your video- I'm 6'3" & 190 pounds (slim athletic build) and think the king or sentinel series might be best for me.. When seated in the upright position in these chairs and you lean fully into the chair back to take advantage of the support for your back does the chair tilt back slightly or keep your body fully upright still? (I want to be able to have the full support of the chair back whilst on my computer/PC gaming- but to be able to comfortably reach the keyboard mouse etc on the desk that would be more challenging if the chair tilts slightly back from the fully upright position..most ideal would be to be able to tilt forward somewhat..can it tilt forward? Do the lumbar and head support pillows stay in position or slip/move all the time? .. Appreciate your feedback! Thank you

Also, how are the armrests ? My other chair which was really expensive too and made out of (PU ?) leather i think and since my desk is so high i rest my elbows on them and after a while the cushion is just gone and letting my elbows rest on there really hurt.

I still think these are all to short for me. I am 6'4" with a long torso. I want a tall chair that I can lean back and rest my head back against the top of the chair . I measured approx. and what I need for a seat height and I really need about at least 37" or (about 95 cm) seat height (that's the back part of the chair that you lean on).. If you're American it is what you're used to everything is in imperial and sometimes also metric. But it is never not in imperial. However I agree you either need to stick to one or the other or just use both. Don't use one in one instance and the other in another. No one in their right mind measures height in imperial and weight in metric. This is how people make measurement errors I the first place changing from one to the other.
+John Jeah. I realise that people from america are used to it, and old habits die hard. However, if products are sold globally everybody should either use, or at least include, metric values. The imperial system is confusing for everybody who didnt grew up using it.. so basically the rest of the world. The metric system is clearly superior in how it works, especially in measurements, math and science. However, it is also true that america cant just change it. People would be confused, and more importantly they would all have to calculate each value first, because they are not used to it. The best thing would probably be if schools taught and used the metric system primary. Making the next generation think in metric, but able to understand imperial values as well, would probably solve the issue in the next few generations. I dont live in america so correct me if i'm wrong, but schools still primary teach the imperial system, dont they? I know that they teach both, but i'm pretty sure i read somewhere that the metric system is just kind of.. explained, never "really used". Maybe a few times in math or something.
It is weird how it is taught in schools. As remember it and mind you this was more than 20 years ago. We covered both in elementary math. So we are all familiar with both. Then in high school if you take more advanced math and science you use metric a great deal more. There was never however an emphasis on one over the other in my schools. It is more that everything is already measured in imperial so it is just easier. Milk is sold in gallons. Roads are marked in miles as are speed limits. Buildings are measured in square feet. Land is sold by the acre. It isn't that we couldn't convert it is that we would have to change lots and lots of infrastructure that is already established. Even knowing metric you just accept that everything is in imperial and you learn to think that way. So it isn't a matter of teaching, we learn it. It is a matter of changing everything.

+curly0117 yea the models are confusing. This is the model I have OH/KF06/NB. It has the fully adjustable arms and the softer material for the seat. The differences I could tell for some were the 4 way adjustable arms or permanent ones and the type of material for each option. I must say this is honestly the best chair I have ever had.

In NZ we tend to use metric for everything in normal conversation except when it comes to peoples height. It's something that I always found odd.
We do the same in Canada.

I was told today by DX Racer that the Max Series is being discontinued.
I have one of these, they are actually really nice, wish there were more padding in the seat but I'm not even sore after a whole day of gaming.
What chair would you reccomend for people who differ a lot in height and weight but want to both use the chair?
I'm 121lbs and 5'5" and my husband is 198lbs and 6'0" and we use the same computer so we don't want to buy 2 chairs but all chairs seem to fit either him or me, not both.

I have a really high desk, and these chairs seems quite low, can you adjust them up really high or ?
Also, how are the armrests ? My other chair which was really expensive too and made out of (PU ?) leather i think and since my desk is so high i rest my elbows on them and after a while the cushion is just gone and letting my elbows rest on there really hurt.

I still think these are all to short for me. I am 6'4" with a long torso. I want a tall chair that I can lean back and rest my head back against the top of the chair . I measured approx. and what I need for a seat height and I really need about at least 37" or (about 95 cm) seat height (that's the back part of the chair that you lean on).. Do you know of any chairs like that?? Thanks..

If you're American it is what you're used to everything is in imperial and sometimes also metric. But it is never not in imperial. However I agree you either need to stick to one or the other or just use both. Don't use one in one instance and the other in another. No one in their right mind measures height in imperial and weight in metric. This is how people make measurement errors I the first place changing from one to the other.

Jeah. I realise that people from america are used to it, and old habits die hard.
However, if products are sold globally everybody should either use, or at least include, metric values. The imperial system is confusing for everybody who didnt grew up using it.. so basically the rest of the world. The metric system is clearly superior in how it works, especially in measurements, math and science.
However, it is also true that america cant just change it. People would be confused, and more importantly they would all have to calculate each value first, because they are not used to it. The best thing would probably be if schools taught and used the metric system primary. Making the next generation think in metric, but able to understand imperial values as well, would probably solve the issue in the next few generations.
I dont live in america so correct me if i'm wrong, but schools still primary teach the imperial system, dont they? I know that they teach both, but i'm pretty sure i read somewhere that the metric system is just kind of.. explained, never "really used". Maybe a few times in math or something.
It is weird how it is taught in schools. As remember it and mind you this was more than 20 years ago. We covered both in elementary math. So we are all familiar with both. Then in high school if you take more advanced math and science you use metric a great deal more.
There was never however an emphasis on one over the other in my schools. It is more that everything is already measured in imperial so it is just easier. Milk is sold in gallons. Roads are marked in miles as are speed limits. Buildings are measured in square feet. Land is sold by the acre. It isn't that we couldn't convert it is that we would have to change lots and lots of infrastructure that is already established. Even knowing metric you just accept that everything is in imperial and you learn to think that way. So it isn't a matter of teaching, we learn it. It is a matter of changing everything.

The arms are too far forward and wide leaving my arms and shoulders without anything to rest on without hunching over. The chair forms a "C" shape not allowing for a place to rest your head without the inadequate included pillow. If using the lumbar support your head can't rest on the pillow. Worst $300 I've ever spent and not sure how these get such great reviews.

That's unfortunate as I was seriously considering one. Athough I was looking at the King series ik the F series would be too small. What would you recommend? I typically don't buy computer equipment specifically geared towards "gaming" but these seemed pretty good at first glance

+curly0117 yea the models are confusing. This is the model I have OH/KF06/NB. It has the fully adjustable arms and the softer material for the seat. The differences I could tell for some were the 4 way adjustable arms or permanent ones and the type of material for each option. I must say this is honestly the best chair I have ever had.
