Amazon US Link to DXRacer Store Page - amzn.to/3jNx2UI Don't think they sell to other parts of the world on Amazon. Just for some extra clarification, re the email I sent to DXRacer, I didn't mention or verbally say that they of course have no obligations to collab with me... I take that as a given and just didn't say it, but wanted to add that here, the edits I put it in made it sound like I was expectant. Also, in the Quersus chair review video I did in 2016 I said the DXRacer chair was super creaky, I can't remember what happened but it either fixed itself or I replaced something but it now isn't... I watched that back and was quite surprised as one of the stand out features of the DXRacer is how silent it is!
I'm glad I stumbled on your video and super glad you made the follow up. I've been looking for a new chair and DXRacer is in the running. My previous Clutch chair was trash. I broke 3 mounts were the piston attaches to the chair. Twice a cheap weld broke where the cylinder the piston sits in and the cylinder attaches to the chair mount. The third time a couple months back was way worse, it was the welds on the main mount that let go. Really quite pathetic considering I'm 6'1" and only 185lbs and the chair was rated to 240lbs. I purposely bought one that was over-spec'ed in the hopes it would last. Even if the welds weren't trash the fake leather on the seat cushion was. The stitching on the seat opened up on the right side in less than a year, then the fake leather started to develop cracks etc... about six months later. Clutch told me it was normal wear and tear and wouldn't do anything about it. Anyway I did manage to fix one of the earlier bases that I had, and the chair is useable again, but I gave it to my daughter, she's
I just bought and recieved the gladiator series chair and was inspecting all the stitching and any knife wounds and am happy to report that so far it seems good haha
mine has had the covering peeling off quite hard for a while now, yours will probably start falling apart soon too. I'm never buying this brand or type of chair again. I wanted a quality chair, not a chair with cheap crap fabric wrapping that comes apart way too fast and even the arm rests are literally falling apart lol. Be warned
I think I came over here from Linus Tech Tips, when you modeled some sort of rocket or something and he did a shoutout. But yeah, I enjoyed your chair video more than the others about boring 3D stuff 😁👍
And I keep seeing you on Eli the Computer Guys comments feed and chatting away in his live streams! But yea Linus tweeted out the Fallout bomb prop that I modelled years ago, kinda had hoped that would have gave me a little bit more of a boost than it did but still waiting for that haha I stopped the 3D CAD stuff a while ago though, its killing me staying shackled to "work" content as it just doesn't work on TH-cam unless you find a way to make it appeal/entertaining to everyone. I haven't gotten quite as salty as Eli yet but I absolutely see why he's turned into what he has haha
I bought a dxracer a few years back, I'm never buying it again. The wrapping started to come off way too soon, the arm rests are literally falling apart. Hell I find pieces of my chair in the bathroom! Nope nope nope never again. Typical consumer culture trash. If I could get a replacement skin jacket to put around it or something at least that might be interesting. I can say the base at least is fine though. Is That chair 5 years old that u showed? I can hardly believe it

Always enjoy your videos, especially now that I’m trying to get back into AutoCAD. Keep up the good work. Cheers.

@@Neil3D Feels like a real shame to not have your CAD videos being made, they were some of the best!
great video. love to see the dislike count being at 0
could DXRacer be banking on the "Streisand Effect" perhaps?
Also, th-cam.com/video/N_vhxqlOPjs/w-d-xo.html "You're sooo vain" ;-)
Thanks to this video I won't buy DXRacer ever
