I would like to have us the option to grind one (1) substat to at least +2 upgrade per disk. It will allow players to have an effective 18/48 substats as a base while building agents and grinding/gamba'ing disks. Another thing is hopefully they make a more permanent version or overworld version of gears. Instead of being able to get all of them like in lost void, just allow us to pick one. It will give people the chance to build the agent the way they want.
after 1.4 i considered it GOTY, yet hopefully they implement the TV system back in a more fun way because I liked it in general but loved how it made zenless have more personality despite others hating it. idk the fall guys stuff seems more tedious and it being literally mostly gray makes it feel so factory-like. (the ones ive done atleast, also yes the apregghio vault event was insufferable.)
I quit... Thanks to Miyabi, new event and combat changes... Also the copy of a certain Nintendo game is worse than tv mode... I wish developers stop listening people that doesn't even play their games; removing dialogues on tv mode and reducing the quantity of it would have been enough, it was slow, also boring, but at least it was better than playing with the bangboo...
I tell people now that it’s the best free to play game I’ve ever played. It’s actually more enjoyable than quite a few AAA games in my opinion. It’s Insane!!! I’m new to gacha games and this is one I definitely don’t regret playing.
Similar experience here. Though I tried other Gacha games that I did not know were Hoyo, but I could not get into them. Initially, Gacha games were lame and boring to me until, Zenless. ZZZ definitely has the sauce and probably will become the “Fortnite” of Gacha gaming.
Me too, the first gacha game I'm really playing and enjoying. The casual friendly experience is so good. But what really brought me to the game is the amazingly good animations!!!
i rlly apreciate this video since new comers will have an idea of what happened which overall welcomes them into the community and improves the positivity
As a Dokkan veteran (9 years...), after moving to ZZZ I feel like I got out of a toxic relationship and found a normal woman. It's very nice when a game respects your time and your money.
@@scythewyd Droprates and a shitty pity system are one thing, but it starts to get unhealthy when all the endgame content is made around the meta. (For those who don't know, one multi summon costs 50 stones)
I would like if they voiced 100% of dialogues in main story. There is so much movement and emotions and then there is standing genshin-style dialogues but unvoiced. IN MAIN STORY. WHY?
Yeah I know at times those happened because of schedule issues with VAs if they are involving main characters. Hopefully that happens a lot less in the future tho!
The game is the best it's ever been! The story has just been getting better and better, the passion the devs have for this game is very noticeable, and its honestly just so nice to play such a polished game. Hopefully the devs keep on delivering as they have for the past 6 months! ❤
I've tried a little bit (like maybe less than an hour of each) of Genshin, Star Rail, and Tower of Fantasy (not hoyo, I know, but in the same vein of the other games), but those games never really hooked me. When I saw twitch streamers playing ZZZ in its beta period, the aesthetic and combat immediately caught my eye. I tried it at launch and have never looked back; this game is one of my favorite games I've ever played, and it is the first gacha I've ever committed to. I love how the story is serious, but not very high-stakes; there's a great balance of levity and gravity to the narrative. And the characters are just fantastic - from the designs to the personalities to the VA work, it really shows how much they care about the world they've built when the characters are this likeable and believable. And I have gotten way into the combat, it's my favorite part of the whole game (as I hope it would be!) - I'm not much of an action gamer, but I definitely vibe with how ZZZ does combat. I'm definitely looking forward to how they improve the game in 2025!
Same! I played all those gachas but they never hooked me fr (funny enough this channel used to be a ToF channel LONG AGO) but ZZZ was really the first one that hooked me and I've been loving it ever since
This game feels like a video game first and a gatcha game second to me with how they present the main story quests and allowing for trial characters for certain events that way you can still experience events and their stories without having to build a end game team. I don't know if Genshin or HSR do this but this is one of the things that really makes Zenless the best gathca game for me.
Unbelievable I have 300+ hours on this game and yet it feels like this game respects your time. You can finish dailes in 15 mins, but the end game is awesome, SHIYU, Assault, Endless tower. and its just fun to make new teams and push the boundaries of your scores. There's still some room for improvement but considering how the developers are addressing issues I wouldn't be surprised if they get addressed. I actually do the surveys because they do listen. Dope. Edit: I love my lighter Lucy Miyabi team. What's your highest score in deadly assault?
ZZZ is my luckiest game I got every single Limited Character except Ellen Now i dont need Ellen because i have Miyabi The only Standard limited character i dont have his Lycaon Which i dont need him since i got Lighter So i will choose Rina's dupe for M1 on the 300th pull character selector ,im already at 280 pull on standard
Zenless is a really fun game right now. I really like the new Hollow Zero mode especially. It's waaay better than the first one. I would definitely love to see more rewards for spending energy and substat rerolls on discs, but I think that's unlikely to happen because they're obviously making a conscious choice with the RNG for the sake of "player retention". The game is fun enough that I've been playing almost every day since release, and it's only gotten better.
Yeah loving zzz since the beggining and it's getting better everything and i use to play on max quality but in 1.4 i needed to lower some settings, miyabi and burnice is destroying my pc out of nowhere
One small gripe I have is I have no reason to run Hollow Zero after the investigation logs. Someone in a post I read brought up a good point (maybe it was a video?). HSR sends you back into SU to actually gear up your characters. ZZZ just sends you HZ once a week. For being such a big game mode it is a bit disappointing that outside of the weekly endgame all there is to do is low end content, I find it rather boring. Another thing that’s unfortunate too is once you max out the investigation log there’s no point in running with higher modifiers so now I’m just face rolling hollow zero once a week. I hope they improve this but don’t make it as insane as HSRs SU - which has become problematic on its own, face rolling without even using a single skill. I really want more high end content throughout the week. Right now I’m mostly playing Endless Tower just for fun but the environment is getting boring and the music repetitive (although very good music). I’m sure this will be addressed in the future though, content releases have been really good. Time is flying by between patches.
Hmm I didn't even think about this. Yeah there actually needs to be something worth while to push you for gearing up characters. Maybe that's what Tower will be building up to in the future?
Been playing ZZZ since 1.0 and Ive seen firsthand the amount of backlash the game got from players. I would say it was way worse than wuwa's backlashes. As of 1.4 I'll give the game a 8/10. Its overall really good. the story is amazing, gameplay is engaging, lost void and battle tower were fun as hell, and their QoL features are just as good as wuwa. My few problems with the game are the gearing system -- too genshin. Im just used to the memory system in pgr because it has no RNG but more grinding when it comes to min maxing a character. The second problem is that elemental attribute agents cant do elemental attribute dmg 100% of the time (just like genshin) unlike wuwa were resonators can do 100% elemental dmg, third problems is TV system not being utilized well enough, my fourth problem is the weapon banner being 75/25 -- wuwa was able to make it 100% and pgr bring 80/20 with 30 max pity and my last problem is the lack pf powerful male leads. Sure lycaon did a lot in the last chapters of 1.0 main story but I want a male character that can lead the main story alongside phaeton just as good or even better than miyabi. In, pgr, even tho there are fewer male units, their contributions to the main story outshines most female character. Im still sticking with the game and I think hoyo will do many unique, different yet fulfilling decisions for ZZZ
I basically agree with everything you said. I’ve only played WuWa but I definitely like how Kuro handles their endgame content criteria when it comes to buffs. I hope ZzZ makes some adjustments down the road to improve there’s for the better!
I am equally impressed with every change I've seen for ZZZ. Unfortunately, the gear system was a dealbreaker. After Genshin I set a standard to decide if the gear system was throwing my time away and after playing every day for 5 months, never getting one character with over 100% CDMG or even close to a complete build. Add a reasonable pity to the gearing system (it really should not take longer than a patch to be endgame ready) and I'll reinstall the game and it would instantly be a 9 out 10, but 100% RNG on the main endgame (gearing) is leaving whether I can afford to keep playing complete RNG.
That’s wild. I’ve found it extremely generous. I have over 50 double crit main stat discs. Getting good stats has been easy, whats been hard is really min maxing it
Damn really? I never felt like it was this hard to farm for stats but I definitely do agree some form of pity system applied to it would definitely be nice. I think a lot of these games require you to invest too much time for some stats which takes away the enjoyment of the game.
@@rickybobby5153 Yeah, I have that experience in WuWa. I got really lucky and geared every character in like a week of farming, but other people still haven't built anyone. It just needs a pity. I don't know why these games leave the most important element to complete chance. You can get around every other factor in the game, weapons, not having certain characters, etc, but even if you m6, you HAVE to pass the gear check and there's no pity. I don't get it. Please campaign for me in feedback! 😭 I want to play all these games but learned that lesson with Genshin, there's no long-term satisfaction for time without some kind of reasonable guarantee. If I give a week's time, I should 100% get stronger. Really the only thing I ask! 🤣
@@SolessSolXS Yeah, it's really just the need to know you're not throwing my time in the toilet! I was scarred by Genshin because I was so frustrated I started the same test. I went SIX MONTHS doing nothing but one domain and did not increase ONE STAT! I was like never again. It's honestly more important than the gacha to have consistent gear progression. I got lucky in WuWa but it's on borrowed time too with the same system and all new sets to farm. All these games need a week-long pity (one guaranteed stat improvement per week)! Please ask in your feedback! 🙏
It would solve so many problems with endgame modes if you can make one difficulty that you know the minimum investment will meet in the length of a patch. Rather than having certain players wildly more powerful than others.
No, TV mode isn't completely gone, but what they've done is hardly any better. However in the story it's locked behind first completing it in Rally/Bangboo mode missions that are largely ass and in fact take longer than their TV mode counter parts. The Bangboo mode clip you showed from Pale Wasteland is, sadly, far from representative of the MSQ experience And there was just no TV content added in 1.4, not even sidequests or events. Hell, they even removed the ability to do your weeklies in the HZ TV mode
Yeah I did say it was completely gone but they removed it from a lot of sections and replaced a decent amount of it. It’s not going to be perfect since they are backtracking early content but they cleaned up a good amount of the mandatory ones you need to do and will just make sure future content won’t include it as much. Definitely not a perfect solution but they are at least doing something to fix it
Its fine but 2 dissappointing stuff from 1.4. First one is Miyabi, I've been saving since 1.0 for her and finally got her in 1.4. However this character turned to be pretty whatever, AoE is too big, damage is too high and too much i-frame, it turned me off from playing ZZZ. Second is the Deadly Assault, on the 1.4 livestream the reveal of this mode caught my attention because it has the performance point system. I'm pretty glad we will finaly have mode that isn't using empty flat ground + brain dead punching bag + clear time formula DPS check mode. That formula is shit and have been overused in games like Honkai 3rd, PGR, Genshin, HSR, WuWa, etc. Turned out it's just the same stuff again, the performance point isn't the main focus and the actions contributing to the point is very limited. Like we already have Shiyu Critical Node for DPS check, just make something different will they. The Disputed Node & Tower feels more of a new game mode compared to Deadly Assault, but alas they didn't cycle those mode.
the endgame is easily the worst part of this game. modifiers and being under leveled. it's just lazy. the fact that no one is calling that out is just ridiculous
@@SolessSolXS doesn't agree with objective laziness? yeah that checks out. everyone will pretend it isn't a problem until the game is dying because of it. just like what always happens. i always go to comment on things on different channels and sometimes other sites and constantly get told when i bring up glaring flaws for all these games that the game clearly isn't for me and i should go play something else. that's what the Destiny 2 community used to tell me all the time. now it's so riddled with problems because that community finally woke up, and now it's too late because after years of sucking them off and gaslighting me, the game is worse off than it's ever been. I stopped playing Helldivers 2 because the devs were being stubborn and were making boneheaded balance choices. the game was suffering for a few reasons, and that was one of them. not long after i left, the devs made the kind of balance changes i was hoping for. didn't go back. i don't want to see ZZZ being weighed down by the same artificial difficulty that is killing Destiny 2. i don't want the game to be killed by stupid design choices that could easily be avoided. it's too good a game, and right now, a lot of it it's potential is being wasted.
@@pixxelz2893 What is objectively lazy about the endgame? You aren't really being specific about that statement which is probably why people aren't calling out what you are referring to. Is it the difficulty itself or is there more to that? Nobody is pretending issues don't exist in the game. We've been here expressing issues to the devs for months. I for one just don't see what is objectively lazy about it but I would love to hear what you have to say.
@@SolessSolXS Being under leveled. stacking a million different modifiers. i have every limited S rank in the game up to this point besides Jane and Ellen and i can't even do any of the permanent endgame content because of how ridiculous the balancing is. sure, my Myabi team is great, but then my other teams can't even compete consistently. like this specific reset with Shiyu Defense. i can't get an S rank on 7 because the construction boss has too much health. the Myabi team is clearing the first encounter with 0 issues, barely a minute. when the best way to deal the the Bringer fight in Deadly Assault is to have Myabi and Yanagi stop him from even being able to move...yeah they definitely could've balanced that better. the fact that that mode even exists in it's current state even makes me wonder why i have to be specific when i say endgame is terrible. i can't get past floor 25 in the battle tower because ever since that specific patch, dodges and parries to me for whatever reason have been extremely inconsistent. that's probably just a weird mental thing, so i won't really hold that against the game. maybe i really am messing up more than i think i am, but i'll never be able to learn if the team is getting deleted instantly in just a couple hits that i feel shouldn't even have happened when i felt the button go down but didn't dodge or parry. i don't have M6 on any of the limited S ranks. maybe only 1 or 2 of them. Myabi is probably the only limited S rank with not only her w-engine, but with a 2 star one since i pulled 2 in just a handful of pulls. sure, people can clear everything with pretty much every team, and i get that. not saying it's all impossible. i'm just saying with as built up as i am and all the teams at my disposal, i still can't do any of our permanent endgame modes consistently at all because everything seems to be balanced for the whales, and/or the people that played a week at launch and more than likely left because it was "too easy."
It seems like your teams might just be poorly built because you have more units than me, I don't have anything M6 let alone M1 (outside of getting a lucky extra copy of Jane Doe) and I consistently clear the endgame content. The game isn't balanced around whales at all but it seems like you might want to adjust the teams you have and possibly get better gear. Shiyu for you at this point shouldn't be too difficult, going past Floor 25 of Tower is more so a test of might than anything since rewards past that floor are just Dennies, and Deadly Assault is still new so struggling at that bit right now is fine, you probably just aren't maximizing points well which is something I had to get better at for it. Now I'm not trying to say that to be arrogant but that is what these games are built off of. It's all about team building and properly gearing your characters. So if you're under-leveled then you want to fix that to properly clear things because that could be the main reason you're struggling. I would really need to see your account fr to see how everything is built before it fair to write off the Endgame. It isn't perfect but I don't agree that it's objectively bad. I'm not here to say what's for you and I don't even want to say you are complete wrong with how you feel but I think there's some cleaning up we can do to make your endgame experience a lot better.

The Disputed Node & Tower feels more of a new game mode compared to Deadly Assault, but alas they didn't cycle those mode.
hot take, the game is even better, when devs implement to remove TV mode completely.
That just won't happen because they have a decent size audience that still enjoys it so them make content for both sides is the best answer
You do know you don't have to play the TV mode right?
@@ghostfrom3s i know, but most of the pkayers turn off when they play tv mode.
the endgame is easily the worst part of this game. modifiers and being under leveled. it's just lazy. the fact that no one is calling that out is just ridiculous
You’re the first person I’ve seen say this so I think most of the community probably just doesn’t agree.
