    I made the jump to purchase a food truck. I hope to do soft opening of the coffee truck this coming spring, 2023! I am specifically grateful that you shared information about the ice machine vs using ice cooler. Due limited to space, I will get ice cooler. Few questions: What espresso machine do you recommended and power/ volt requirement? How many group head for coffee truck? I wish you many successes. Thank you!

      I managed a Starbucks. and I do remember the mess from the pumps. But we did remove the pumps and let them sit in hot water. And the morning crew pumps clean water before reinstalling the pump. Kneck of the bottle is covered in plastic wrap. I hope this helps. Awesome video. Were did you get your recipes. I want to start my own mobil business. Thank you for your upload. Do you run ro just to espresso machine and brewer or sinks and all? On a good day how often do you add water to the fresh water tank? Did the health department have any concerns with running waste water back into fresh water for reuse? How many cups sold is a good day? New into this, thanks for any info.

    What type of espresso machine do you use? And can you fill it with water in a reservoir or do you have to connect it to a water source

    • @imperfectlyholistic
      @imperfectlyholistic  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We use a Nuova Simmonelli Appia ii compact 2 group. 220v. We can not fill a reservoir. We run water from our fresh tank, through a RO system, then a pump draws it to the espresso machine. 😉

    Great looking mobile set up. We also have a mobile coffee/beverage business. We opted to go the full grumman step van route. We run a simonelli Appia 2 on a 240v system. I'm curious, with your honda genset, does it get maxed out on wattage and run peak while in operation? And what is your total wattage usage on the trailer?

    • @imperfectlyholistic
      @imperfectlyholistic  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Matt! The only time we've maxed it is when everything is running at once and it's hot outside. In the 110s and above. We typically stay around 4800

  • @paulgille9816
    @paulgille9816 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Thanks for the helpful tips. I would like to know how many watts and amps you are using. I’m looking at the exact same generator for my truck but I have a 240 volt heating element it needs to run and it doesn’t seem like it will power anything beside that. Is your coffee maker 240 or 120 volt? How many watts is your coffee maker? Thanks.

    • @imperfectlyholistic
      @imperfectlyholistic  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      We run a 220v as well! Our generator has held up nice. It will draw more power when it's hot and the AC is cranking!

    Nice video. I have some questions about your set up time. When you do arrive at the location, how long does it take you to get all the machines up to working temperatures, and do you keep it plugged somewhere overnight (I assume the refrigerators are on constant power)? Thanks

    • @imperfectlyholistic
      @imperfectlyholistic  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Johan. We actually shut everything down. It takes us about 20 min. To set up. First thing we do when we arrive is fire everything up. Typically, by the time we are completely set up, everything is a ideal temp.

    I am investing in a similar unit in Ireland. But we are haveing powering issues due to the coffee machine being to powerful for the generator.

    Any fees back would be great

      Awesome bro! My grandfather was from Ireland, its on my bucket list! So, we run the Honda Eu7000is 7000 Watt and haven't ran into any issues.
