I spent so much time here as a kid. Getting Orange Calypo's from the cafe there, the witches hat (I remember the clanking sound even now) and also getting stung by a wasp on top of one of the artillery emplacements! Happy times. Thanks for posting!
Went there this year ion the first week of September, very disappointed about the amount of shrubbery covering the war time buildings, and lots of weeds covering the gunnery section, are they wanting to cover up the history behind Puckpool, all those soldiers who died for us. Inside some of buildings what you can see is all litter and debris. Disgusting is the word. Thanks for showing us around. Xx
