Jeep's new #GladiatorMojave is the first-ever #DesertRated #Jeep designed for customers who plan to take their Jeeps on high speed sand dunes in the desert. Building on the #Rubicon trim, the #Mojave adds special #FoxRacing shocks, additional ground clearance, and strengthening under the hood and for the chassis to handle hard bumps and jumps.

Good morning everyone and Happy Sunday, hope you all are having a nice weekend! We filmed this video in a more Vlog style, like our Outback video last week and those of you who asked to see Sofyan's husband in the video, he will be making an appearance here. We originally were supposed to drive the Gladiator Mojave last month in Palm Springs, CA, but that trip got cancelled, so Jeep sent us the truck here in DC. Sadly, all the off-road trails were closed around us, so our off-roading was limited to some gravel/dirt roads. Sorry if that disappoints you, but we hope you all stay healthy and safe during this tough time. Just like all of you, we are very much looking forward to life returning to "normal" around the world because a truck like this will make you want to go on an outdoor adventure ;)

I know all the offroad vids like to show guys smashing shit at high speeds, but the reality of offroading is as slow as possible, as fast as necessary. Especially when you own it and have paid significant money for it. The locking front diff of the Rubicon is an added bonus too for rocky areas. Oh, and the disconnecting sway bar too.

The Subaru likely won’t have anything go wrong or need any unscheduled dealer visits while the Jeep will have you on a first name basis with the service advisors at your local crappy Jeep dealer. The Subaru will use about half the fuel, have better resale, and be far cheaper to own over the long haul.

    60k? bad reliability?
Best idea - lease one for 36 months at 10k -12K miles for low monthly payments (Jeeps have high resale values and FCA is always pushing low money factors to gain market share) - use it for weekends, fun trips, fridays and then buy a used Camry or Accord etc for a daily driver. Still would be cheaper than purchasing. You eliminate reliability issues as well as the entire 60k chunk. No equity? Thats the tradeoff for no headaches and huge price tag.

It bigger, more muscular and has much utility then a Subaru Outback! Cost $2X more too! Much more upscale image! Outback is more reasonable choice for suburbs!

It's outrageous FCA is asking $63K for this given the equipment level. They aren't selling anywhere near as many as they thought they were going to - no wonder given the prices!

I'll take the Subaru over a jeep any day of the week. Yeah it looks good(kinda), but the reliability is still a question mark.

The wheel base is sooo long, it's really not good for rock crawling compared to other Wranglers. This thing is good for mud and sand, but any truck can do that. For much less money.

I do like this Jeep but if I wanted a vehicle of that caliber I would buy the Raptor, I think the Raptor is better for everyday use. BUT, what I would buy for my needs would be the Outback so I think you guys bought the correct vehicle! :-)

Getting? They've always been pricey. They do have excellent resale value.

A subaru outback is honestly 10x the daily driver that this would be.

My biggest issue with Jeep is how expensive the wranglers/gladiators are! It’s ridiculous that base models that literally don’t come with anything safety wise, tech wise etc start a little over $30,000. It’s why I’m hoping ford prices out the bronco at a more affordable price.

A great vehicle to rent on vacation out west or to the beach. As a daily, not so much. Great for mudding, rock climbing, dirt roading. Great looks, power when and where you need it, except on smooth roads. The ride is too harsh and jittery.

Only one thing keeps telling me not to buy a jeep is the ratio price/quality: low quality, high price.

I don’t disagree but have you checked out the resale value on Jeep Wranglers? One one the best resale value in the business.
