I've played as Russia before and it's not a bad country or tough to defend at all. You just put troops in two border provinces with level 2 outposts and it will block off most countries from attacking until you're strong enough to counter attack or better use your start up resources to build up strenght and annihiliate your neighbors.

I have won a game with India but I got atttacked hard by Myanmar in the very beginning so I needed people to help me out I did eventually defeat him but not on my own and Indonesia also did the same to me but my coalition ended up winning the game
You always have wild card games where your opposition comes after you quick. It's really the only play against one of the larger nations is to go all in on them.
South Africa, 5 cities doesn’t look very appealing but from the jump you get Durban and Gaborone and that turns into 7 and you have crazy supplies production you take over Namibia or Mozambique based on what you want then get the other, pick up Madagascar as well for some fuel, get DRC and at that point you are kind of a powerhouse and you can ride up the west or east coast, you can go solo or coalition and win and my best game is with South Africa where I took over the entire African continent, parts of Europe and the Arabian Peninsula and ended up winning with a coalition
I play alliance war. The match is 16vs16 & it is random start country. I got india My alliance clan is very disorganiseze, so it end up 6 vs 16. 3 out of 6 is serious to play, that is my leader, my buddy and me. My leader random start being alone in europe and serounded by enemy badly. So it end up being 2vs16. But we won because me and my buddy has been into this situation many time, being outnumber. No gold, just use simple strategy demoralised enemy.
I like Belarus in general, but India is good for getting a head start in the game, I normally just play Belarus more than any other country, people say it's hard but it's just not lol, my struggle is the configuration of what to research, I don't know weather you research your Air force or your Ground Force, I normally research my Corvettes as soon as I reach Riga/Tallin or Sevastopol and Odessa early game so I can set up a future attack, but here in India, you just need 2 ships on each side of the country, and a Ground-Force and Early-Mid Game develop your Air force with the Ground Force
Sure thing, for my play style, I like Infantry, GunShips, AS, Subs/Elite Subs and Railguns. If you run into someone hyper active they will out range you, so make sure you have a good coalition. I also like ground radars too.
Yeh it's by far the best big nation nation.. Not super hard to defend like US or super long to move across like Russia. Or China.. Yeah its def the best big nation
I would have to say the best country for me Is Japan, I always pick it if I can, no enemies to the east you just have to wait for the koreans to start fighting then it's just easy picking, I've pretty much in the 2 games I played with Japan recreated the Japanese empire of WW2 and I have undoubtedly had the greatest navy on the globe in both games, and the best part is I dint even need armored support I only used naval infantry and my navy to conquer pretty much the whole Pacific and southeast Asia. I reached my greatest height in the game where most of the map is flooded it would have been ideal for me because my navy was stronger then the three next 3 navies combined, but sadly one of our coalition member threw a temper and just left and we just negotiated to standby while we let the other coalition win the game. I really wished he dint throw a tantrum because literally all of the peoples productive cities were on the coast meaning I would have dominated the battlefield, add my teammates army and victory was certain.
@@TheB2 well with Japan the key is the navy I probably shouldn't be giving you my secrets but I cant even log back into my account so I don't care. So the key Is the navy , literally in the beginning stages I only produce Naval infantry destroyers and most importantly cruisers, I once destroyed a guys navy so bad he messaged me. In later states in the game as you get more recources produce aircraft carriers naval air superiority fighter and anti missiles etc. The great part about Japan too is I never upgraded the factories I kept them at lvl 1 and I am still able to reach my army limits.
We found a folder in one of my games: Norway, my coalition caught him Golding and exposed him in CON news and now the con news exploded with articles complaining
just remember, golding IS a part of the game, and it's against the rules to flame anyone for doing so. I don't gold unless it's to counter another golder.. But it's an allowable strategy
@@thegreatest3face774 you're not allowed to get in CON news and talk crap about them golding.. it's allowable by rules, but "flaming" or insulting them over it is not
It's good as I love to play with India but if your neighbour Myanmar is a good player then you will be fucked unless you are online often . But once you can deal with all that , it really makes the game a lot more easier .
The one thing that's challenging about India is the resources. They have a lot of supplies so I always end up making Corvettes and artillery and things but then I feel overmatched if there's a strong Naval player such as Indonesia, Australia, or the US that attacks me. But they only have one city that produces rare materials and their components are weak as well so it's hard to research and build top tier units.
@@blessen9238 Even though I am an Indian, I would have to say this, Kashmir is officially said to be an Indian state, but it STILL isn't an Indian state, it's disputed between Pakistan and India,( don't forget Aksai Chin,Chinese Kashmiri territory). but personally for me playing India has been hard as India is a big country and it is hard to move troops from interior cities like bangalore to the border. And not only pak there is an invasion threat from myanmar too. Any help?
cowards- these game developers are really cowards to make Kashmir a separate country. Its like making texas another country. Just because two other countries want India's land doesn't make it separate or theirs. Moreover Its called Jammu and Kashmir because its one state wth two ends. Why break a state to 2? Pathetic!

Whatever you do never take those smaller countries in special gamemodes...some of them don't even produce all the ressources you need so if you don't attack someone else to get their cities you're screwed
Japan is really good. I played in real time and won too But the thing is you need good allies or get eaten up by Neighbouring Countries Advantage of Japan is having ample no. of cities and resources
If you dont get in as soon as the game starts, picks are limited ....i like Saudi because of natural buffers and easy advancement opportunity ... especially if you annex Kiwait for extra cash early on ! every one is selling resources, you will be buying them . my other pick is Turkey , but you have to put extra units to defend Istanbul until your navy is built up .
Saudi arabia is a very good country I got a solo win with it. The country Turkey is risky because you are in Europe and middle-east unless you have a good coalition it’s good.
Pakistan has a strategically great advantage over India, and India is to predictable making it vulnerable to Pakistan. The sooner you attack India, the easy it is to conquer India. Make sure China or Afghanistan are not allies to India... Wait for India to attack Nepal and Bangladesh (and Kashmir) cuz it 100% will (most probably on day 1) Send all your army to New Delhi, Jaipur and Ahmedabad. After that they don't have a lot of army (and confidence) left and you can proceed to the leftover cities... Worked for me 6 out of the 6 times I chose Pakistan 🌚 So India might look like a more powerful country to play as, compared to Pakistan, but it's really not.
@@edwinbenny2483 All the 7 idiots I played against, as well as the maker of this video who thinks Pakistan is going to sit there, do nothing, wait for India and watch India attacking Bangladesh, Nepal, SriLanka and Kashmir ETC... I just got a perfect game with India im allies with china, japan and obviously Pakistan for now. But I'm not sure how I should move on. What should I research maybe mechanized troops? more navy? strike fighters or air superiority? Should I attack Mynamar? Btw I'm currently day 1 in a 4x game
I would start with the AI countries and only attack when your coalition is ready to join you. Strength in numbers. As for what to research, that depends on what's in play on your board and what your coa needs you to focus on. A strong coa takes multiples roles and splits it up so you can get big quick.
you might not believe this but usually when i play america i get crushed by canada but i crushed mexico my coa is falling apart so ill invade brazil and canada with the right of way trick
@@TheB2 Lol u dont want to get into that argument. Pakistanis say kashmir belongs to them, India says it belongs to them. Kashmir says they want to be a free separate country and India took their autonomus rights away so they can send soldiers to remove the muslim population for hindus to move in. ITS a mess!
@@shahanshahpolonium That is false, I'm not a Muslim man but I know most of Kashmir wants independence. If that wasn't true than why would india ban kashmirs access to the internet which is a human right and plus put milions of soldiers in kashmir
I think that best country is Greece or Turkey. Greece is better but depends on what doctrine you prefer or nation for roleplay. The reason for it is the Balkans and Syria and Israel. The Balkans and Syria and Israel areas have highest density of cities. Balkan is easy since the countries are almost all computer AI. I am new and from Bosnia so I play Turkey. I attack Greece first, then move up the Balkans, like Albania, Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia(player) and Slovenia. I avoid Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary. After that I take Syria, Lebanon and Israel. When I hold all these, I am 2nd largest economy after Russia. Next goal is I attack Egypt since it holds a choke point (Suez)for naval and few cities stacked by the Suez and river. After that I like to go for Iraq and go down the river to Kuwait, avoiding the sand of Saudi Arabia. If you are not friendly with Europe, then go for Italy. Coastal cities are better than regular cities. You can build Shipyard which increases resources. This is why I would recommend Greece over Turkey as starting nation. Greece has more coastal cities and you can stack shipyards, airports (increase resources) on top of arms factories. Forget what people say about Germany, Japan, United States and so on. Play Greece/Turkey and follow the map of Ottoman Empire around the Mediteranea Sea and you will always be a superpower.
that whole area plus europe is always highly contested early. Africa and South America are rarely played by good players so it's a great place to start if you need a few extra days before war
I would say Australia is better cause the only player near them are new Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia you can make an alliance with them you will be isolated from any superpower that buys you time to build your army.
Bro Andaman Nicobar Islands in India or near as you may say in the Bay of Bengal or Indian Ocean are awesome if you build a field airport their ,it will boost your attack and petrolling range beyond or till strait of malacca. I use them to defeat Malaysia and all other islands and they got hard time lol to attack also they failed always as I guarded it with destroyers and anti air guns and airforce offcourse including navy helicopters lol😂😂
no poland is good because u can invade ally with belarus and ukraine and then attack germany early on then betray ur allies and take them over then russia then... idk
Peru if you play smart, I’m in a game where me and colombia controls all of north and South America and half of Africa but Sweden just got nukes lol damn them
Could be me, I am right now Peru in a game and Columbia is my only left active in our starting coalition. Soon we will go toghether in an other and right now are already holding the entire american continents xD And yes, Sweden is also by far the strongest Player in my game, a guy at lvl 118 ^^
India is ok. I like France and Poland. Both also have 8 cities and are positioned better. In Europe, it’s easier to expand because there are tons of countries. When playing France or Poland, there are way more options and easy wins off the bat. You can also make a quick alliance with uk or Germany and be really good.
yeah Korea is hard, especially with an aggressive china or Japan. If I'm japan and you're a Korean nation, I'm sorry.. my whole strat is to invade south korea day one, north korea day 2, then china before they can come after me first.
@@TheB2 For one it’s usually not one of the first countries people pick so when I want to play as Mexico it’s easy to get. Plus if you get the United States, Canada and maybe a South American country like Argentina on your side you guys should be able to quickly conquer the rest of the americas and be out to a good start victory point and resource wise.
keep in mind special forces can't capture cities or territory. It's a viable strategy when used with paratroopers, but i find that Marines, with their massive attack against cities, are more useful overall.
I've played 6 games so far. Chose Pakistan everytime, conquered India, Kashmir, Srilanka, Nepal, and Bangladesh within a week everytime, without the use of gold.... In every single game, India was attacking Kashmir, Nepal, and Bangladesh at the same thing, I took advantage of it and wiped out India easily.... so "No" India is not the best country to start with.
@@TheB2 Most of the times, India attacks Bangladesh and Nepal on day 1. So as long as Pakistan knows how to play, and is not an ally to India, it's really easy to conquer India. Maybe I'm just a very good player with just a little experience lol
I think it's tougher because of the same reason....how do you expand? There aren't enough choices to go after and you have a ton of enemies real close.
if someone lands marines or aav's on your coast outside a city you'll be regretting that assessment lol. The UK isn't bad, but it's low on resources and high on potential enemies. Japan has the same number of cities, similar resource production, and no natural enemies nearby with korea being so weak and china and russia so distant.
@@MausOfTheHousetry India or brazil some time. 9 or 10 cities, and no natural enemies that can effectively attack you.. I've done brazil twice and was always in the top 5 throughout the game, and as India my first try ive been in the lead almost the entire game so far

My other 2 3 city neighbors are both gone now too, and i'm most of the way through pakistan.. I've been in the lead since "day 3", since it's a 4x we're on day 7 now
I prefer marines, tank destroyers, and sams in my force. If I attack your mbts and infantry in a city, I win, and they are very strong on defense too. TD's and marines both have city bonuses, which on top of their exceptional stats will guarantee wins on attacking. That being said, I have BEEN rushed as Indonesia, by Australia and the Philippines, on like day 3, and lost that game immediately. Last time i played Indonesia.
Australia is always far away from the battles for me and I always get a strong New Zealand for some reason when I do play it....then I spend a week beating NZ back.

Eastern doctrine is cheap but not good. European doctrine is in the middle of the road. Western doctrine you have a good navy but your army and AF are sword and shield. Eastern same but different ,your Army is good, but AF and Navy is for D Euro Doctine_ mid sized counties, easy to navigate troops for beginners. They post the nonsense and trash talk but notice the experts like us; focus on our coalition and winning the game. Beginners should use mid sized European doctrine to build an elite Air Force, good navy and decent army; they can establish air and naval superiority and the army is decent. Euro doctrine is the way to go; in my humble opinion, eastern and western is good for guys like is, pros. If you insist on a large country, have a good coalition, pick your neighbors near by you, talk and ally to those who are jot in your coal. If you are more courageous, pick UK or Germany. India, Russia, China, USA, or Australia, leave those countries alone.
I like playing South Africa
i like sweden the most provides a barrier plus finlands city is in the south so its undefended at the north
you can guard the one naval entrance too, which is nice
I play alliance war. The match is 16vs16 & it is random start country. I got india
My alliance clan is very disorganiseze, so it end up 6 vs 16. 3 out of 6 is serious to play, that is my leader, my buddy and me.

NICE!!
Yeh it's by far the best big nation nation.. Not super hard to defend like US or super long to move across like Russia. Or China.. Yeah its def the best big nation
Exactly
I'm so bad with Japan because I tend to be more ground based so India allows me to do some Naval. What units do you produce?

I always think I'm in a good position and then something happens I don't expect....the more I play the less it happens.

@@TheB2 those are the island chain near indonesia and myabmar and malaysia
@TheB2 very true since the nerf now every country in south America plays the same navy or air force anything else will get you crushed by others
I would say Australia is better cause the only player near them are new Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia you can make an alliance with them you will be isolated from any superpower that buys you time to build your army.

@@TheB2 India is the best country to play with... then there's brazil... ive won a ton of games with brazil..
no hes not, as a current player india is one of the best if not the best country to pick
I like south africa and Kazachstan
Kazak is always a good time
kazakh good but if im playing as china u better lookout
Belarus is maybe even better than India
I've played some games where Belarus has done well....I may have to check them out. I just started a China game I like too.
Personally i prefer Argentina
Argentina is good and really good players rarely plat South America in my experiences.
