Grazie 1000 e ancora sinceri complimenti

      Ciao Enzo Dotti!

is there a way to calabrate these cutters, ive got one coming tomorow as i use a cricut now but want to start making bigger decals, but i also use the cricut to cut sticker sheets on a a4 vinyl sheet,if it starts cutting off i can calabrate it so its all good again, i cant seem to find any info on how to cut my sticker sheets with this pix max or if im able to fine tune the cutting location. any advice on this Thankyou

Hi VeeDubGamer! I've only used my pixmax with inkscape and the sign cut pro 2 software, so it's just been a case of turning on the pixmax to let the blade move to it's default position then I insert the vinyl from the back (I use rolls not sheets, cheaper in the long run) with about 75mm of vinyl out the front as the machine seems to back feed the vinyl before it starts to cut this stops the vinyl being ejected out the back and the cutter cutting nothing. You can adjust the position and arrangement of the stickers in sign cut pro 2 but for the most part I just chuck it in and hit cut! Hope your machine arrived in good order and you managed to get it connected ok, seem to remember struggling to find the right 'port' connection on mine, Dan

@@petrolvectors well, it arrived, was missing 2 screws and the signcut activation code, so i spent over 2 hours wondering why tf i cant get it connected to laptop, gave in and rang the customer line and they sent me the code, set up quite easy then, im just struggerling now with getting it to not cut through my backing sheet and how to move the cutting block to a different location as sometimes my vinyl isnt always cut straight across, i think i need to hold menu and arrow keys, the instructions on what the bottons do is very vague, seems great on thicker vinyl but i use thinner stuff so about to start fine tuning it, will continue to use the cricut for now on stickers, as i got loads to figure out with this pixmax

@@fr000bify glad you got sorted, the blade cut depth is just trial and error, what I use in the video is about spot on for the vinyl I use which is normally ritrama brand and I still occasionally manage to cut through the backing paper. Do some test cuts at different blade depths and you'll soon find what works for your setup, it's part of the fun! (🙄🤪🤣). I am well behind with my videos but I have a list of new stuff coming out soon, one by this weekend, good luck with your new kit! Dan

@@petrolvectors I think I got it setup just like my cricut now, it needs 2 passes and it weeds fine , with very minor backing damage, I really cba to move the blade for now, test cuts are ok but when I cut a design it was messing up, used about 3m of vinyl , for my vinyl 300 speed and 40g seems to work, problem now is I got to sort out is the roller wheels they are far to tight and marking the vinyl.
Keep doing content, maybe a beginners guide to sign pro, I have no idea what half the setting are atm👍

Have you got the hang of it? 👍 A video on a beginners guide to sign cut pro? Sounds like a plan I'll put something together for it this month (June).

I am brand new to this and trying to get into it I'm trying to make business cards out of a single sheet of paper I have the blade set up to cut the paper and nothing more but I don't know how to use ink scape to cut out from top to bottom in rectangle sections nor do I know how to set it up so I can insert paper and the machine realize that its heading to the edge of the paper or if the paper is straight lol any help full info? (found a vinyl cutter in the trash plugged it in it works just fine had a blade in it already lol)

Hi Ben! Nice find in the bin, love it when stuff like that happens! When I've set my design up on inkscape and saved it as an SVG file I have to send it to another bit of software called sign cut pro 2 which talks to the cutter. If you only have inkscape I think there may be a way to send the file direct from inkscape to the cutter, I've never used that method as I have the other software but google it and see if there's any additional info, think it's something like send direct to cutter. I'm away from home for a few days otherwise I'd try to replicate what you're trying to do to figure it out and give you some help. As for orienting the paper, when you turn the cutter on the blade should reset to it's default position so for me, my blade sits far right of the machine so when I feed material in from the back that puts the blade to start at the top left of the material, if that makes sense. If I was home I could help a bit more but hope this gives you a starting point. Dan

@@petrolvectors I saw you use that other software in a different video so I already downloaded signcut pro 2 I have a jpg of the cards that we print out for our business and I have no idea how to outline what I need cut I messed with the settings a bit and found the right amount of force to cut the thicker paper but idk how to make it cut other than the test cut it preforms thanks for actually responding to me. I also have no information on said cutter looked online and cant find anything on it so idk if I can factory reset it or not so it just works if it even was broken. also I reached out on a whim cause I went he uploaded a few days ago he might respond ( th-cam.com/video/dtnFRut_mi4/w-d-xo.html ) this brought me to your channel btw
