That's a fine collection there I'm not digging no more and in about 10 years I've only come across a hand full of them them ones you got are very rare for sure there very nice I can respect your collection
My buddy just found one in the river we walk. Its that cobalt blue with the smiling skull and has the star above and below. What does something like that go for? Amazing collection btw.
Man I love that submarine poison bottle! I haven’t been able to find one for sale… are they considered common? I know they come in three different sizes and I’ve only seen them in cobalt blue.. but that’s all I know… also it seems like the original glass stoppers for most of these poison bottles are harder to be obtained then the actual bottles themselves, Wonder why that is.. “OCD and being a completist doesn’t do the hobby any favors”
Hi. yes they are very rare. They sell for thousands of dollars in mint condition. My bottle has some hide. damage which made it affordable for me. And yes the stopper are hard to come by. Thanks for watching.
I've just got into these and bought my first 3 yesterday and was wondering if there is a sure fire way to tell if a bottle is say a victorian one (late 1800's) or what seem to be the most common, the 1920's bottles? Thanks!
The seam on the side of the bottle should give you a rough age of the bottle. If it goes to the top of the bottle its usually 1910-1920 and up.My best advise about rarity is go to ebay completed items and see what people pay.

Nice looking antique poison bottle collection. I collect poison bottles too, over 45 years of collecting poisons. Mainly American made.
Sometimes I wish I was more strict with what I collect but it just never happenes. I love all the different countries and the bottles they produced.

Is the Triloids from Philadelphia more rare than from Baltimore?
I found a bottle that has the face of the devil on the bottom...surely it's an old poison bottle?

so the KU18 coffin Clear is more rare then the cobalt one you have?
The clear ku-18 is the only one in that color I am aware of. The other coffin shaped bottles are also pretty rare.
I want to find a nice coffin or skull poison bottle but I don’t want to fall for a reproduction.
