I have an antique Vitalis Hair Tonic bottle from circa 1940. I know it's real because I see residue from the yellow product itself inside of the bottle. Also, it's hard to stick anything inside the bottle because the opening is smaller than the size of your nostril. To add, like how you first had your bottles in the beginning of this video, the paper label on my bottle came off a long time ago. the gum that held the paper together was long dried and was almost completely gone. I completely cleaned the outside of the bottle with water, alcohol and dish soap. Did the same for the inside. However, I could not completely clean the inside for the reason I stated. Then, I added the original product inside of the bottle (as it is still sold in many pharmacies across the US) to put it in re-use.
That’s a good idea. I was thinking about doing that, refilling vintage orange crush bottles with home made orange crush. I can’t find enough of them though.
@@countrydirtkid4451, not so sure if it is a great thing to reuse old soda bottles. Be sure to make sure that they are extra clean. Because you do not want to risk accidentally swallowing bacteria.
Great for your next Halloween party! Old wine bottles with scary names. Or an assortment of old bottles with eye of newt etc . Try a half a cup of strong tea. It works much better then coffee. A couple tea bags in a cup of hot water. Even just hot water from the tap. Let it sit and soak for 20 minutes.
Country Dirt Kid , I have used Tea dying for years! For fabric mostly but on paper as well. Give it a try some time. Instant tea will work in a pinch. Mix it up strong. If your not a tea drinker, or have tea bags at home , you can find them individually many places. For experimental purposes. 😉

I know the feeling, I have an mint condition laptop that I inherited from my grandmother. Nothing ever works on it and when I ask people in the know what to do all they ever say is that the operating system is too old and its not worth it to update it.

I collect authentic antique medicine bottles and those look great! Since they are authentic antique bottles they cannot really be called faux vintage bottles. I guess they should be called "true antique bottles with reproduction labels that look amazing"-lol.
It always amazes me that I work so hard to find old bottles and then I see awesome bottles from 1800’s selling for 10 bucks on eBay. it’s my dream to find one of. a kind bottles from my town. thanks for watching

What paper did you use for the stickers?
I used regular copy paper. It was the middle grade paper not the cheapest.

No it’s really a copy machine that prints jobs sent to it. Bigger libraries print through their copy machines since printers are so problematic.
