  • We take a look at what is potentially the ultimate all in one screwdriver from Klein tools. This is klein tools 32304 combined with the klein tools flip socket set 32907 make the ultimate all in one screw driver.
The 14-in-1 all in one hvac is already a good screw driver and has most bits for technicians. It has some issues which could be improved, such as bit storage. better bits, maybe a smaller handle option. but it is quality screwdriver you should be carrying on your belt.
To make the ultimate all in one EDC, you will also need to get the Klein tools 32907 flip socket set, which can be paired with the tool to replace the existing shaft. it will provide an additional 4 socket sizes. A bit heavy, but if you need ONE tool, this will probably be it. If combining with the 32907 the sockets will need to be removed to make the shaft retractable.
Adjustable Screwdriver includes 1/4-Inch and 5/16-Inch nut drivers with 12 driver bits conveniently housed in the handle
Adjustable-length blade for use with an impact driver or Klein Tools Cat. No. 32303 or 32907
Multi-function 1/4-Inch socket has both shallow (driver) and deep (bit holder) configurations for added versatility
Impact rated blade for use in an impact driver
Powerful Rare-Earth magnet securely holds bits and hex head fasteners
Includes the most commonly used HVAC bits and nut drivers all in one tool
    Includes #0, #1, #2 Phillips, 1/8-Inch (3.2 mm), 3/16-Inch (4.8 mm) and 1/4-Inch (6.4 mm) Slotted, #2 Square, T10, T15 , #2 JIS Bit, Schrader Valve Insertion Bit, and Core Removal Bit
    Spin cap for optimum control
Cushon-Grip handle for maximum comfort and torque
Great for various applications including tight spaces, impact driving and long reach
    7-in-1 Impact Flip Socket Set includes 1/4-Inch, 5/16-Inch, 11/32-Inch, 3/8-Inch, 7/16-Inch and 1/2-Inch nut driver sizes
Features 1/4-Inch Quick-Connect adapter for easy use with an impact driver
Multi-function 1/4-Inch socket has both shallow (driver) and deep (bit holder) configurations for added versatility
Powerful Rare-Earth magnet securely holds bits and hex head fasteners
Sockets are color coded for easy identification
Detachable sockets allow for easy removal of metal shavings from magnet
Sockets store on shaft in any order or orientation

That's exactly what I did took the 14 in 1 and the seven and one and replace the tips. And I kept the original tip as it's still a Klein tool and very nice.

I really like how you can shrink the shaft. My bit driver just broke from years of use, and I am excited about how this one looks. I am definitely going to get the Klein older stubby and most likely get both of these. The only multi bit screwdrivers I hate, are the ones with proprietary bits, like double sided one's. My last one was double sided and I use double sided bits with my Leatherman Rebar, but I use the Wiha bits. They are always going out of stock and not to may companies make good double sided bits, with all the different bits. The other day I seen a few triangle screws and I thought I had basically every bit I would ever need, until I seen the triangle screws that I had to remove. I really wish companies would stop making all these different screw heads. I understand that Phillips wasn't the answer and square and torx were supposed to be better, but why triangle. I ended up ruining a few bits, taking those out, since I didn't have those bits, and I bought a $30 bit set, that has pretty much all the bits you come across because of that. It makes me look bad, coming into a home or business, and not having the tools I need. That's why I love multi bit drivers. That's just my rant on screw companies. 😅

    Had one, loved it…
Dropped it off a 8 ft ladder…back broke off, bits everywhere.
    Haven’t tried superglue yet…still heartbroken.

would be nice to have those flip sockets separate to add them to other screwdrivers I am always pulling out tips on the old 6 in one to get 1/4 and 5/16 nutdriver then i lose the tips since there is no storage

After seeing you remove your flip out of your 7 in 1 I’ll say my 7 in 1 handle was not releasing the socket at all. Some penetrator got it loosen up a little (it’s all I had) wondering if it was defective or is it supposed to hold the bit that tight.

Klein is great hand tools and meters. I will soon be meeting the owners from klein and probably will ask them to make a service wrench for hvacr and other stuff and I was told that all the stuff that they have and make will be Made in USA share this was told to me by my local electrical supply house from klein themselves.

I guess none of those bolts or screws are metric? I would think they'd supply it with ECX bits too. I guess you dont "need" ECX but its nice to have. My Milwaukee 13 in 1 has the things missing here.

  • @kenpeterson_IG

I recently found something even better: Milwaukee 13-in-1. It has 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, and 1/2 hex drivers. It also has square bits perfect for ECX screws or whatever else they'll fit. It's also got Schrader valve drivers and large/small Phillips and slotted bits. The only thing it's missing is a magnet so that it will hold other 1/4 bits which don't have the ball bearing. It is a great tool I'd recommend looking into.

    • @senilegoldsmith4112

    • @kenpeterson_IG
      @kenpeterson_IG 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@senilegoldsmith4112 the only thing it's missing is magnets. Other than that, I've had no complaints with it out in the field. It easily gets more use out in the field than any other tool I own. I do want to try something like this someday just to see what I'd think of it, though

This is like meeting a new chic. I'm 2:40 in, and so far I'm liking what I'm hearing and actually a little excited that I might have just found *the one.* A shaft that you can take out and stick right into the impact driver! I'm often driving screws with the impact driver all the way until they're near tight, and then *have to switch* over to the ratchet or screwdriver to finish tightening. *BUT,* just like with meeting any other chic, I'm sure that _something_ will come up to spoil this... probably when I find out how much she's gonna cost me. Chics, I mean screwdrivers, this too good to be true are usually *expensive.*
*EDIT:* NO FREAKIN WAY!? HD sells this thing for $24.97 !!!! Ok, price is good.
*EDIT:* DAMMIT, I KNEW IT! She ain't orthodox.... oops, I mean it ain't *ratcheting.* I knew something would spoil it. I'm breaking up with this screwdriver.
