Great video, thanks and agree emulsion shocks are much easier to build and there's never a bladder that slipped out of place or got overfilled!

Looking forward to seeing the truck bashing with that suspension set up! Been contemplating what I want to do with mine.

They also just released a kit for the maxx. Basically using two front pistons for the rear. So all 4 are white. I’ll be putting up a new video today with some crazy stuff and the shocks handled it all!

Im guessing the rectangles are actually acting like a taper and speeding the fluid velocity up thru the port giving you a faster rebound extension so you have maximum dampening when jumping

I’m really confused on the shock rebound, some guys want a rebound, some guys don’t want a shock rebound. I’m installing the m2c pistons in my sledge just as you have using 60 weight oil. I just wanted to know if the shocks should or should not have a rebound? Also on my x-maxx I’m installing the m2c pistons as well. What is the proper way to set up the shocks? Thank you

it depends. If you are doing a bladder shock vs. a zero rebound shock. Bladder shocks are what the sledge and the xmaxx have stock. Zero rebound require a bleeder cap. If you are using the stock caps you will want to build a bladder style shock. fill the shock almost to the top with oil. pump the shaft up and down a few times to release bubbles. let it sit for 5 minutes so bubbles can rise. top of the oil. turn your cap on almost tight but not all the way. you can push you shaft in as far as you want or leave it extended all the way out. then tighten the cap woth the shaft in the position of rebound you want. a little confusing to type. My advice, if you have stock caps, top up the oil and then tighten the cap. the pistons alone will help a ton.

It's silicone... Not motor oil. Would you take the cups off of ear buds you're tossing to properly dispose of the silicone?
