I never understood why anyone wanted an AR for years. I thought and thought about it. I kept asking why. A buddy of mine let me shoot his and I still didn't get it. It was when Beto started his lunatic moment as to when I decided to purchase one just to have. So my journey began. Lower, upper, optics, etc etc. After building my own and actually firing it, it felt like a marriage made in heaven. Now, I'm hooked.
You'll soon start to have affairs by having your second, third, and fourth ARs. Marriage of this sort is proven to be unstable.

I shot a gun for the first time recently and my friends were surprised when I knew basic gun safety and the first thing I did when they gave me the gun was to check the chamber and magazine and with my muzzle management. Amazing how much I have learned by watching Hickok45 and great how he makes sure to do things safely and educates his viewers. also I never really knew how fun guns are to shot in real life, lol.

I really like my BCM. I have been running an 11.5in MCMR on my SBR for a little over a year and it's never given me any grief. I ordered mine from BCM and they gave me a lot of SWAG which is always a big plus. I've owned a handful of AR's from PSA to AERO precision and the BCM really has attention to detail. Some people wouldn't ever spend more than $500 on an AR but I won't buy any other AR than BCM from this point out. They have a reputation like Glock, real war and duty daily use. Great video Gentleman.

BCM is awesome. I have had the best customer service experiences with them. Most gun manufacturers take their time getting back to you when you write, but BCM is always a one-day response and they are always willing to help. Plus, they're always willing to help. Aero Precision is the same way, and they make great stuff. In my very humble opinion, BCM and Aero are at the top of their games right now. That is not to say others are not, but those two are offering a lot of bang for the buck.

I picked up my BCM Recce two weeks ago from my FFL. It is a work of art and the machining is superb. Now, I've been waiting 3 months for this rifle on layaway. I'm sure glad I placed my order when I did.
From what I’ve learned in my 4 years of shooting is that BCM and Daniel Defense are the top two companies that make high quality rifles out of the box.

Absolutely correct.
There are companies that make top notch competition rifles or boutique rifles however when it comes to Milspec battle ready rifles, BCM and DD are the 2 best in the industry no questions about it. I prefer BCM more though because their Quality Control is better than DD and every other company.
True. There are many more, however. Lewis Machine and Tool, Fabrique Nationale Herstal, LWRC, and don’t forget Colt. And lots of others that probably don’t market themselves as effectively as the two you mentioned.
Knights Armament should be on that list.

Nice video 45, I absolutely agree with you on BCM products, great stuff. I bought a BCM 20 inch complete upper and built the lower, mil-spec buffer etc...I think it's the most accurate rifle that I have ever owned, a real tack driver.
I'm right there with ya. I love cleaning my firearms. The feel, smell and knowledge that on any given moment I am ready to go, if need be. Firearm love for life!

Almost forgot to tell ya I've been watching your channel for almost 2 years now and I admit I'm a slow learner but after seeing your range setup a 100 times it dawned on me about 2 weeks ago that my property is very similar to yours and right now I can get 100 yards from my concrete pad to the big bank we shoot into for a backstop so inspired by your range I went an bought the AR15 of chainsaws Stihl MS391 instead of another gun which kinda sucked cause I could have bought a nice AR pistol for that price but anyway I have 20 acres and I hope to clear enough trees on the hill to get 200 yards. Anyway love your videos and enjoy and be safe.

Nickmh07 I had that same problem when I had to chose between the 2 and I went with BCM because they are known for having the best quality control in the industry and I am glad I did. Since I’ve owned mine, I have yet to hear hardly a single complaint about their parts and yet I see problems here and there with DD parts in forums and Facebook gun groups and TH-cam comments sections. Also, I like the owner of BCM, he’s a true warrior and American.
This comment was a year ago, I hope you have been able to get one by now I bought the same model in MLock and it is the nicest rifle I have owned to this point.

why people tend to forget the first sentence "A Well-Regulated Militia, necessary to the security of the free state" ?
Juragan Traktor and evening more people forget that the District of Columbia v Heller, resulted in the decision that the second amendment be interpreted as a person has the right to own a gun to defend themselves their family and their property.
Even before this it was widely accepted that the founding fathers were giving this right to all free citizens. People like to argue you must be in a militia group to own fire arms. Well first of all what does that mean. Who decides who is “in the militia”? What stops you from saying I started my own militia therefore I’m entitled to that right? What is a militia?
1. A military force that is raised by the civil population.
2. All able bodied civilians eligible by law for military service.
So by definition if your legally eligible for military service you are already in the militia.
And the biggest reason for that right? To protect against a tyrannical government. Do you think the founding fathers gave us the right to arm ourselves against a tyrannical government, only to take away the weapons when not needed to fight a tyrannical government? You think they meant, you can’t have guns unless we start to be tyrannical, then when that happens we will give you your guns to fight us?
Bottom line, we were given the right to arm ourselves. A right that shall not be infringed upon. SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED!!!!

I have a Holosun HS510c on my hodgepodge home built AR with a Vortex 3x magnifier behind it and I really like that set up. I picked up a AR at my favorite dealer to look at and he had the Holosun magnifier behind a red dot and I was really impressed with the clarity. Think I need to switch out to one of those over this vortex but for now it is a great set up especially with back up irons on their. I went with a milsurp KAC micro flip up rear sight and standard A2 front sight post in carbine gas for maximum reliability/durability. Aero Precision receivers, Daniel Defense barrel and DD Freefloat 2 piece drop in old school rail, very solid, I also swapped a couple of the weights out inside the buffer for tungsten weights making it a H2. I just got my YHM Resonator can back last weekend freed from ATF prison going to be mounting this weekend just mocked it up for now. This is my go too dooms day bug outer for sure.

I have that exact rifle and it's perfect! I put attachments on it that focus on longer ranges, but I'm proud to be a owner of such a quality piece of equipment! Μολών λαβέ

That bcm stock is the best available for a patrol carbine IMO. It does get a little wobble after hard use but still much less than anything else in the same price range. The mod 0 grip is also the best of the best imo. Such a natural quick grip angle.
I put them on all my AR's I just got a new Daniel defense and I had the bcm furniture waiting.

I have the Recce 16 in Burnt Bronze...By far my favorite rifle, my go to rifle for sure. With the TA31 ACOG it's hard to beat. BTW, if anyone wants their rifle to smell like a BCM rifle when it comes to you fresh in it's new box, buy G96 gun oil..You're welcome..
